Early career []

As a young naive teenager, Xander had an interest in getting participated in the professional wrest

ling game. With the assistance of one of independent wrestling's most accomplished veteran (also his father) Jonah Payne. Payne was passionate about teaching Xander the basics of professional wrestling as he established a wrestling ring in their backyard. In the backyard, Xander took his first bump and learned the basics of wrestling. Xander’s first wrestling match was in an armoury in front of a crowd of fifty spectators, which was unsuccessful as he lost.

Elite Answers Wrestling (2018-present)[]

Debut (April 2018)[]

As he was trained by his father Jonah Laine, he grew more and more passionate about the concept of professional wrestling which led him to joining local independent companies where he would dominate and obtain championship gold. With his notable accomplishments in the independent circuit, his career was noticed by REVOLT! Pro Combat scouts, which reported him as a must-sign wrestler. Once Xander was a free agent, he was presented with a REVOLT! Pro Combat contract, however due to the merge with EAW, his contract was substituted with an EAW contract.

Xander’s first televised match under the tutelage of Elite Answers Wrestling was against the ambitious Sid Alpha, which was successful. As an elitist under the Voltage brand he would go on to compete in several matches before Fighting Spirit, which was an event where he obtained an opportunity for the EAW New Breed Championship, defeating Ryan Wilson.

New Breed Champion (June 2018-present)

Upon defeating Ryan Wilson at Voltage exclusive FPV Fighting Spirit, he stormed into the general manager’s office demanding to challenge for the EAW New Breed Championship at the grandest stage of them all, Pain For Pride, or as Payne would call it, Payne For Pride. After shifting through weeks of excitement, Xander would walk into Pain For Pride 11 for a EAW New Breed Championship match against Damon Diesel, Alex Bowden, and the champion at that time, The Revenant. With the help of an eye poke, Payne would connect with the Pop-Up Powerbomb finisher on Alex Bowden, pinning him down to win the EAW New Breed Championship for the first time in his career.
