Due to a problem in scheduling, the NXD title, which was meant to be the equal of the RSD title on Mayhem, was forced to be unified with the RSD with the closing of Mayhem on such short notice. The unification match was a TLC match between Hardcore Harry and CB Punk at Cyber Slam 2011. Hardcore Harry walked out the victor.

With the closing of Adrenaline, the RSD champion, Alex Falcon, and the World TV champion, Rufus Shinra, along with the #1 contender for the RSD title met in a triple threat unification match, which saw Rufus Shinra walk out the victor unifiying the titles.
