World Wrestling League (WWL) is a CAW league founded by Stephen Gibbs in 2003. The show went defunct in 2008 after debt trouble. In 2009 Gibbs re-instated the business after an anonymous benefactor provided funds.

Hello everyone my name is Stevie Gibbs. I am the Chairman of the World Wrestling League. This corporation ran from 2003-2008 in its early off screen days. We had to throw the books in the recycling bin after announcing bankruptcy in November last year (2008).I bought thirty lottery tickets (2 per week) and after fifteen weeks of winning I re-instated WWL. (In reality I regained my wrestling addiction). I want to tell you that any person who wants to reccomend IDEAS you can but I deeply warn all will not be accepted only the best ones will advance to the screen. I do not give CAW Formulas. I film the shows using a cam-recorder.
