WWC was founded in June 2005 by former WWF wrestler Johnny Orders. Together, with his family. Orders created the WWC in his home state of North Carolina. What was intended to be a small independent wrestling federation grew into an internationally known enigma. Talent was brought in from all of the World. From Britain to Russia and even as far away as Australia. This company grew and grew. However in 2006 citing mental stress, Orders sold the federation to the then World Wrestling Federation.
In the World Wrestling Federation, it became known as the Betrayal brand and flourished as part of its internationally well known product. Following the death of the WWF, the entire WWC archives were purchased by former WWC competitor Christian Stoneberg for safe keeping.
Origins
Founded in June of 2005 by the Orders family. WWC began producing their own Television show called Betrayal in early July. Following an open invitation tournament, Simon Swinger would become the first ever WWC Universal champion. Other famous WWC Icons made their debut in this tournament, such as: Ryan Stylez, Demon Dave Shocker, JBL, Lewis Green and Red Gladiator.

Swinger would enter into several different feuds over his Universal championship in this time but would overcome his challengers. Stylez and Shocker proved stiff competition for the young man but by becoming victorious, he'd in turn become WWC's first and greatest Icon.
The Shocker Era[]

Former WWC Booker Dave Shocker
In the fall, Dave Shocker was tasked with taking over the booking for the WWC. During Shocker's time, the federation took a completely different direction with an attempt to push the younger and midcard talent to the top of the card. Swinger was able to continue his impressive title reign by retaining his championship against JBL and Red Gladiator in brutal feuds. His international signings of Han and most importantly Phillip Rocca proved his eye for great talent. However his booking while successful for a time was widely criticised and he was subsequently deposed as federation head in the March.
The AHU Committee[]
Following a coup, the AHU (Assholes United) took over the booking from Dave Shocker. The AHU lead WWC into it's most creatively successful period. Sean “Predator” Carter was

able to defeat Swinger for the championship in a federation wide Battle Royal. Carter would lose the championship the following month to Phillip Rocca in a brutal Wargames after Swinger turned on Carter and defected to the Apex Syndicate out of jealousy and bitterness against WWC for making him defend the championship in the Battle Royal. The war between the two groups continued well into the Summer however the storyline was never concluded due to the company merging with the WWF.
Merger with WWF[]

Swinger upon regaining "his" Championship
In August the WWC was merged with the WWF in a very bitterly opposed move. Many members of the federation felt that Johnny Orders had sold out the WWC to improve his own failing career in the WWF. The WWC was renamed the Betrayal brand. Former WWC alumni Christian Stoneberg and Ryden took control of booking duties during this period. Rocca quickly developed a reputation of his own as one of the greatest champions in WWC/Betrayal history. However his title reign was ended by Flock. Flock would lose the championship back to the returning Swinger after interference from Shocker. As 2007 began the old WWC alumni tried to revive WWC on it's own but failed.
Betrayal Brand 2007-2010[]

Orders after his betrayal of WWC
The legacy of the WWF carried on with the Betrayal brand but it was never as great as it once was. It was relegated to a B brand and was a shadow of its former self. WWC is the story of an efederation that was cut down in its prime by politics, in fighting and ironically, the Betrayal of the very man who founded the company.

The Legacy[]
Will the legend that is the WWC ever rise again?
Even if it is never reborn. WWC influenced the lives of many great e-wrestlers. It was more than an e-federation for those who were a part of it. It introduced and influenced so many great efedders. It might be long dead but its legacy lives on in the hearts of all those who were a part of it.
