WWT Television Championship

The WWT Television Championship is a championship currently defended at World Wrestling Television. This title is the secondary title at WWT.

History

The championship was created, almost like every title, at Televmania I, at March 2006. The first ever match for the title was a match between Snap and Kankuro, a match that Snap won, becoming the first ever WWT Television champion.

The title survived for a more then a year. At Spring Brawl 2007, after Squidward won the title, WWT owner Mr. TV stripped Squidward of the title because he used a chair on Gaara, and the next day, he announced that the TV title is no longer exist, because he created the WWT Hardcore Championship to replace it.

One year later, the WWT Television title unofficialy came back. Kankuro, as part of a deal with Danny Phantom to "Kill the Hardcore title" declared that he is the TV champion, defending it in 10 minutes time limit matches. Kankuro then lost his "title" to Hardcore champion Snap in a Hardcore title match, where the Hardcore title would have been replaced by the Television title if Kankuro was the winner.

The title was revived at June 2009. Mr. TV, then heel, wanted to add titles to his Corporation Stable. Therefore, he revived the title and awarded it to Kankuro. However, Co-Owner Ember McLain forced Kankuro to defend his title immediately against Patrick Star, and Kankuro lost. Since then, the Television title remained the Secondary title of WWT.
