The WWE European Championship was the third-tier championship title in the WWE E-Fed federation on Monday Night RAW; the second brand of the company. The first champion was M-Dogg 20 who won a 15-man Battle Royal to become the inaugural champion. The final champion was New Jack who was in second reign, after defeating Paul Burchill at Unforgiven on September 22, 2008. After winning the European Championship, New Jack would disown the European Championship and rename it the Hardcore Championship, reactivating a champinoship that had been inactive since September of 2006. New Jack and Muhammed Hassan hold the record for the most reigns with two reigns each. New Jack holds the shortest reign with 1 day. Jimmy Rave currently holds the record for longest reign (as an individual) with 110 days.
