Shock & Awe II came hot off the heels of WFW Superbowl of Wrestling II. The event saw six huge matches including the main event featuring Rat Fink and Michael Manson, the two men who headlined the main event of the first Shock & Awe, as they teamed together to take on Psycho and Golem, who made his WFW debut. The event also saw Larry Tact against Copycat, Sean Edmunds against Pulsar, as well as announcer Brandon Jacobs being sent to the hospital as he threatened to reveal the identity of Scotty Michaels' wingman Bartleby. Then-President "Simply Sensational" Sean Edmunds fired former President, and the man who defeated him for the WFW World Heavyweight Championship, Alex Wylde at the event.
