Following the fervor surrounding the Boston Red Sox and their impending World Series Championship, the event was held in Fenway Park instead of the Fleet Center for the second edition of Paradise Lost. The event featured a six man Bar Room Brawl and in the main event, in a "Paradise Lost" match, Copycat took on Scotty Michaels. The winner of the match had the right to either exclude his opponent from the World Heavyweight championship match being held at the next pay per view, or to name his own stipulations to the match taking place. Scotty Michaels won the match, and to the shock of the entire crowd, chose the latter of the options allowing Copycat to remain in the World Heavyweight Championship scene.
