The BAD World Heavyweight Championship is the "hardcore" championships in NGEN/WFW. The Championship shared its initial title history with the WFW World Heavyweight Championship before World's Finest Wrestling separated the two into distinct divisions. The first sole BAD World Heavyweight champion was Diablo.

Current Champion[]

Jared Wells is the current WFW BAD World Heavyweight champion after defeating Steve Johnson at WFW:NE Unplugged pay per view from Omaha, Nebraska.

Lineage[]

The BAD World Heavyweight championship traces its lineage to a now-defunct regional wrestling organization known as Boston Action n' Destruction. B.A.D., as it was known, had a fairly large following of devoted fans. Many of the superstars who wrestled in the WFW in the beginning had ascended from Boston Action n' Destruction, and the organization created the championship to recognize the past.

The BAD World Heavyweight championship was separated from the WFW World Heavyweight championship at the Spirit of NGEN pay per view on August 20, 2003 when Shawn Hart, who had won the two championships, gave the BAD World Heavyweight championship to Diablo.
