The WEW Women's Championship is the main women's championship title in the World Elite Wrestling federation on the Adrenaline brand. The first champion was Sayge Jemson, who won the belt in a 5-Woman Gauntlet Match at WEW's Battlefield pay-per-view. All of the belts holders have only held the championship once. Rhiannon has reigned the longest with the championship with 295 days. Giselle Stratten's 58 day reign is the shortest in the belts history.
History[]
The first champion is Sayge Jemson after winning a match at WEW's Battlefield pay-per-view in a Gauntlet Match against Faith Diaz, Jasmine Loreiei, Catelyn Vaine, and Trish Newborn. Along with winning the championship, she became the first female in WEW to hold both the Starlet and Women's Championships. Jemson finally lost the championship at the WEW Retribution pay-per-view event to the hands of her former tag team partner and rival, Giselle Stratten. After Stratten defended the championship at the WEW Legacy pay-per-view, she officially announced it as her retirement match and vacated the championship the next day. The championship was decided in a Fatal 4 Way match where Rhiannon came out victorious; since then, she has become the longest reigning champion in WEW's history, with over 270 days. Caroline ended the longest WEW Women's Championship reign by defeating Rhiannon at Battlefield. Caroline's lengthy reign was ended by Brooklyn Carter at the Third Degree Burns II pay-per-view. At the Battlefield III pay-per-view, Tiffany Krys defeated Brooklyn Carter via submission after Brooklyn Carter tore her ACL, ending their lengthy feud.
