The WCF World Championship Series was a series of matches held for seven consecutive weeks in the Wrestling Championship Federation. Every match was a WCF World Championship match.

Origins of the Series

At WCF Payback, Skyler Striker returned from injury to win a battle royal for the Number One Contendership to the WCF World Title, disguised as Biohazard. Champion at the time, Jack of Blades, came out and decided to have the match there and then, and Skyler unmasked after the first few seconds to reveal himself and win the World Championship from Blades. The week after, Seth lerch announced the Series as a challenge to Striker and a way to ensure the prestige of the World Title.

Match Information

Striker vs. Biohazard

Biohazard was the first competitor, requesting a match because of Striker's misuse of his personality. The Series was announced before the match and Striker went on to win in convincing fashion, Biohazard tapping to Striker's Lockdown submission.

Striker vs. Creeping Death

Striker and CD faced each other on the 20th May Slam. The two exchanged words during the week over what wrestling really meant, and it came together in a five-star match which saw great technique and resilience from both men, however it was Striker who came out and retained his World Championship for the second time.

Striker vs. Thunder

Striker was permitted to choose his opponent for Timebomb and he made the choice to face longtime rival and the man who captured his WCF Hardcore Championship, Thunder. Striker then announced a Pyramid Match, and Thunder attacked Striker shortly afterwards. Striker defeated Thunder by the end of the match with the Lockdown.

Striker vs. Williams

Skyler defeated Jay Williams, one half of the new WCF Tag Champions the week after Timebomb. Bobby Cairo kidnapped Jade Striker after the match had finished.

Striker vs. Craven

Striker defeated the Hardcore Champion Johnny Craven in a match on Slam. The night was also heavily inolved with Bobby Cairo, Striker's opponent for Explosion, and so Striker was laid out backstage after the match.

Striker vs. TXO

Striker defeated Rich Marciano in the last Slam Series match. Cairo once again played with Striker, hanging his daughter over a cliff to scare Striker.

Striker vs. Bobby Cairo

Bobby Cairo won a four way battle royal to determine who would face the champion at Explosion. Striker made it the whole way through the Series to face Cairo and at Explosion Striker finally defeated Cairo. Jade, however, was not returned.
