Professional Wrestling Career[]
Black Sabbath Wrestling/RIOT! Pro Wrestling (2019)[]
Queen of Snark Style[]
After signing her contract for BSW, Vanessa debuted on the inaugural January 10th episode, falling to Matsuno Honami via pinfall. Despite this, many were reportedly impressed with her debut. On the January 25th edition, Scott teamed with Travis Burke in a victory over Shane Holliday and Justin Rattler after Vanessa pinned Rattler. At Black Sabbath Rising: Origin, Scott submitted Rattler in a one-on-one match. Over the next month, behind-the-scenes issues led to the rebranding of the developmental brand to RIOT! Pro Wrestling. At the first event for the rebranded show on March 23rd, Chapter One: Paradise Found, Scott defeated Rattler once again, this time in a 30-minute Ironman Match. On April 12th, Vanessa teamed with Holliday in the opening round of the ICW Tag Team Championship Classic. Their team was eliminated by the team of Captain Canuck and Bobo Sweetcakes when Holliday was pinned. On the April 17th episode of ALPHA Wrestling, however, the Commissioner announced that the developmental brand would be shelved for the time being and that a select number of competitors from the brand would be brought up to the main brand. Scott officially signed her main brand contract with the company on April 22nd, 2019.
ALPHA Wrestling (2019)[]
New Beginnings[]
Scott made her television debut by delivering an in-ring promo on the April 24th episode of ALPHA Wrestling. She announced intentions of becoming ALPHA Women's Champion while also flirting with Shane Holliday despite his lack of attendance at the show. On the following night, Scott teamed with Io Ishimori to defeat the team of Justin Rattler and Matsuno Honami, her third victory over Rattler in as many matches. In her in-ring debut on the May 1st episode, Scott teamed with Cassidy Hart in a victory over the team of Rattler and Honami again. She was then booked to take part in a triple threat match on the May 10th house show, facing Honami and Hayley Webb for the ALPHA Women's Championship. Despite an impressive performance, Scott was unable to win the title when Webb pinned Honami. In light of their performances, both Scott and Honami were announced as competitors in the upcoming Goddess of War tournament after the show. On May 15th, Scott was pinned in a triple threat by Io Ishimori. The match also involved Rima. At Ascendance, Scott debuted her talkshow segment, 'Nessa Knows Best, with her first guest being herself. She quickly followed up on the ensuing June 5th episode by hosting Graham Baker on the show. On the June 12th episode, Vanessa hosted Samantha Taylor and Ana Somnia in advance of their singles match later in the event. Later that night, Scott teamed with ALPHA Wrestling Spirit Champion Arata Asakura in a winning effort against the team of ALPHA Grand Champion Cassidy Hart and Sienna Ward, earning the victory after Scott pinned Ward. On the final night of the Gods Among Us Fan Fest, Scott was defeated by Ward in a singles match.
Losing Streak Continued[]
On the July 3rd One-Year Anniversary Special, Vanessa Scott helped kick off the Goddess of War tournament in a losing effort against Athena Veronica, who pinned her after putting her through a table. She would not be seen again until the July 31st episode, where she hosted the newcomer Julian Cross on 'Nessa Knows Best. Almost a month later, Vanessa hosted Ana Somnia and Graham Baker, the only two repeat guests she's ever had, on her talkshow. Directly following the end of her segment, Scott was defeated by Yoshino Nakano, leaving her win-loss-draw record even at .500. She was then advertised as going to compete in a Japanese Deathmatch against old rival Matsuno Honami at Shane Holliday's House Party on August 24th, but the match was mysteriously cancelled at the last minute. They were then scheduled to compete in a singles match on the August 28th episode of ALPHA Wrestling. On the 28th, Scott surprised the Commissioner by hosting him on her talkshow, where she learned the match the prior weekend had been cancelled because Yoshino Nakano had threatened a lawsuit. After the segment, Scott defeated Honami with her Scott Shot finisher. A week later on the September 4th installment, Vanessa hosted Nakano on her talkshow, leading to Honami interrupting and causing a three-way brawl, which ended with Scott standing tall (as tall as someone her height can). On the September 11th episode, Scott hosted Honami on her show before being knocked out of the ring by the interrupting Yoshino Nakano to allow her guests to have their singles match. After Nakano defeated Honami, Scott attacked her until Honami laid them both out and stood tall. A week later, Scott teamed with Athena Veronica in a losing effort against Honami and Nakano when Honami pinned Veronica.
Continued Feud with Yoshino Nakano[]
During the Storm The Throne Pre-Show, despite eliminating Honami after her Scott Shot finishing maneuver, Vanessa failed to win the Three-Way Elimination Japanese Deathmatch, falling to Nakano's finishing strike. On the September 25th episode, Nakano hosted her own parody of Vanessa's segment, calling it Yoshino Knows Best. Vanessa came to the ring to interrupt and the two brawled until Vanessa threw Nakano face-first through the monitor and stomped her facial wounds open, wounds which would be revealed on the October 2nd episode as having required Nakano to begin wearing a protective mask, for which Nakano blamed Vanesssa and demanded financial restitution.
Freedom Pro Wrestling (2019-Present)[]
Branching Out[]
Scott officially signed a contract with FPW on September 9th, 2019. After a series of back-and-forth segments harshly criticizing one another, Vanessa challenged Liz Karlson to a match at Dead Man's Chest II for the FPW Freedom Championship, which Karlson accepted. However, at the event, Danica Jane interrupted the pre-match introductions to show she had stolen the title belt and would hold it hostage until she is added to the title match at Uncensored II.
