Benjamin Joseph Anderson (born February 1st, 1974) is an e-fed character. Known as a sucessful professional wrestling promoter B.J. Anderson, Anderson has also been a play-by-play commentator and manager. He is the founder of the Legends of Wrestling League (LWL), and is the co-founder of War Zone Wrestling (WZW). He is currently signed to WZW, where he appears on all 3 brands as Chairman of the company.

Early Career

World Wresting Federation(1991-1992)

Anderson began his career in 1991 for Vince McMahon's World Wrestling Federation, as a part-time referee, and also as the ring announcer on WWF Superstars, replacing Howard Finkel. Later that year, Anderson resigned as a referee, and became a ring announcer exclusively for pay-per-view events (although he still made sporadic appearances on regular WWE programming), debuting at King of the Ring of that year.

Not long after Unforgiven of that year, Anderson moved into the broadcast booth on Tuesday Night Titans, as a color commentator. He reportedly received advice from former WWE broadcasters, including color commentator Randy Savage, and future WWE Hall of Famers Jim Ross and "Mean" Gene Okerlund. When Titans was cancelled in late 1992, Anderson left the company.

National Wrestling Alliance (1993-1996)

After he left WWE, Anderson had a meeting with NWA president Jim Crockett,Jr about negotiating possibly forming his own promotion in his home state of Oklahoma. Crockett and Andeson signed a deal for a promotion in Oklahoma, and within a year, Oklahoma Championship Wrestling had joined the NWA.

War Zone Wrestling (1996-Present)

After remaining unemployed for several months, Anderson returned to the wrestling world

    • Jack Ruby: A WZW legned and Kayfabe president of the company.
    • Mick Foley: General manager of Wednesday Night Chaos.
    • Spike Spencer, David Carson, Steve Corino, Andrew Williams, William Regal: TV Commentators for Overdrive, Inferno, and Chaos.

On July 14th, 2008, Anderson announced that he and his business partners were purchasing several defunct federations in order "to revive what wrestling once was".

Personal Life

Anderson is a graduate of Oklahoma University and has a Bachelor's degree in Arts and Drama.

Anderson is also the older brother (and former manager) of WZW wrestler Samuel Anderson (known as Johnny Blaze to his fans).
