United Wrestling Fusion was a conglomerate of two previous federations that had come together, the Empire Wrestling Federation and Xtreme Chaos Wrestling. It existed from December 2002 until it was purchased and absorbed by the Lock Wrestling Federation in July 2003.
UWF then consisted of two brands: EWF Avarice and XCW Obliteration.
