The Uncanny Socialites(formerly known as Thunder & Lightning and The Bellis Street Socialites) are a professional wrestling tag team consisting of Rebecca Saint and Kelsey Spencer.
They are four-time Tag Team Champions, having held the NOVA Victorian Tag Team, HYBRID Twin Star, OPW Tag Team and BIW Tag Team Championships on one occasion each.
History[]
Before formation[]
Saint and Spencer were wrestling rivals on the Australian independent wrestling scene, mainly within Down Under Wrestling, where the two clashed over the DUW Women's Championship on several occasions. When they were both signed to Visionaries of Wrestling, they mutually agreed to put their differences aside to join forces.
VoW (2015-2016)[]
Spencer and Saint made their individual debuts on the December 14, 2015 edition of Breakthrough, with singles victories over Dustin Holt and Valerie Beasley, respectively. They made their tag team debut the following fortnight against the Chaos Sworn, where they lost via count-out when Saint abandoned Spencer and she was driven through the announce table. They would later feud with Beasley after Saint attempted to end her career - this feud came to a close when Beasley made Saint submit, and was ultimately defeated by a recently-turned Spencer.
Saint berated Spencer in the ring on the May 12, 2016 edition of Breakthrough, betraying her by assaulting her, ending the six month run of the Bellis Street Socialites.

NOVA Wrestling (2017)[]
When Saint returned to wrestling from her pregnancy, she saved Spencer from an assault in NOVA Wrestling at the hands of newly-crowned NOVA Victorian Tag Team Champions, Jerri Brekke and Sophie Ryan. The pair where scheduled to face the pair in a non-title match at the next NOVA event, but Saint managed to convince them to put their titles on the line against them. Saint pinned Ryan in the match after her Saint-Hearted finisher to win the titles for the team.
IYHWF (2017)[]
The team made their debut in IYHWF after Spencer had lost the Proving Grounds Championship, defeating the team of Sean Hazard and Max Thunder, known collectively as State of Anarchy - a team which Spencer was never able to defeat when teaming with her former partner, Annabel Lee. They saw moderate success in the coming weeks - losing to Jetpack and defeating Church of Illusionism to become #1 Contenders to the IYH Tag Team Championship. At IYHWF Mind Your Own Fuckhole, they were unsuccessful in capturing the titles from Murphy's Law.
Spencer and Saint were added to a Tag Team Turmoil Match for the titles at the promotion's next supershow, The Fall - a match they stated they'd either leave as champions, or leave the company altogether. Saint and Spencer were the very first team eliminated from the match, and thus left IYHWF for good.
Outback Pro (2017-present)[]
The Uncanny Socialites made their debut for Outback Pro at the promotion's very first show, "Mad Monday", on August 14. There, they competed in a Fatal 4-Way Match to determine the first-ever OPW Tag Team Champions; they were unsuccessful in capturing the titles when Everclear Ayano and Zaqiel (Pure Bold) won the match. The following week at CWC Pacific, the duo wrestled in Japan for the first time when they had another shot at the OPW Tag Team Titles - this time, in a Triple Threat Match also involving Wulf Erikson and Adeline La Roux, #EmphasisOnBullet. They once again failed to win the titles when Ayano pinned Erikson in the bout.
The pair finally scored a win in OPW when they defeated Indie Darlings at "Brisbane Of Our Existence", and then went on to defeat #EmphasisOnBullet in a #1 Contender's Match the following week at "Shot to the Rock Art". The Uncanny Socialites finally got a one-on-one chance to become Tag Team Champions, ultimately losing to Pure Bold when Ayano outsmarted Spencer for a quick pin.
In the coming weeks, Spencer and Saint went on to form a temporary alliance with Spencer's cousin, Krissy Spencer, joining her for a Six Woman Tag Team Match against OPW Champion Babs Ryan and Dragon's Despair - Spencer and the Uncanny Socialites emerged victorious. At OPW 8: "The Bold and the Uncanny", Saint and Spencer defeated the OPW Tag Team Champions in a non-title match, earning them the right to another title shot - two weeks later, at OPW Chaos in Down Underland II, Spencer and Saint defeated Ayano and Zaqiel to become the OPW Tag Team Champions.
