Battleground was a Pay-Per-View presented by the Unified Global Wrestling Coalition. It is the fourth Battleground event and the second promoted by UGWC.
The event was broadcast from the XL Center in Hartford, Connecticut, on October 3, 2011.

Aftermath[]
After the draw ending to the Battleground Match, Somers and Montgomery both were given the right to select a match for Horizons and chose to face the World Champion. As a result, both received singles match against Tyvola at Horizons, Somers as the first match of the night and Montgomery in the main event. To make things fair and ensure both competitors in the main event had already been in a match, Montgomery also faced Travis Pierce early in the evening.
