Tyson Michaels (born October 26, 1986) is an American professional wrestler
best known for his time with No Limit Wrestling (NLW) where he wrestled on its Revolution and Rebellion brands under the ring names T.K Michaels and Tyson Michaels.
In professional wrestling, Michaels is a Eight time World Champion, having held the XWE World Championship and SCW Championship once, the NLW World Heavyweight Championship four times and the NLW Championship twice.
In addition to these championships Michaels has also won the NLW World Tag Team Championship (with Matt Hart), and the NLW Commenwealth Championship making him the Tenth NLW Triple Crown Champion.
Between NLW XWE, UCZ and SCW (where he is also a four-time World Tag Team Champion), Michaels has won a total of fourteen championships. He was also the winner of the 2009 Golden Ticket ladder matches.
Early Life[]
Michaels Grew up in a rough neighbourhood in Philadelphia, Tyson's Parents did everything in their power to stop him from falling into the clutches of gang cultures, though he did hang around with some gang members he was never affiliated with or part of any gang.
At The Age of 14 he enrolled into Wrestling Star Jayden Murphy's Lions Den Wrestling Academy based in Philadelphia, here he met his future Tag Team Partner Matt Hart the pair would later go on to be known as The Murder City Killers once they Graduated the Lion's Den.
Professional Wrestling Career (2006- Present)[]
Xtreme Wrestling Entertainment (2006-2008)[]
On September 25, 2006, Michaels made his XWE debut in a Dark match at the Monday Night Nitro Event defeating Dwayne Richards.He made his TV debut on the following edition of Nitro on Sci Fi,cutting a promo about his training in the Lion's Den and how he fought his way out of poverty. Michaels made his TV wrestling debut on October 9, 2006 under the ring name Dustin Reynolds at the Xtreme Arena defeating Bullet Runnels. Michaels Continuing Under the Dustin Reynolds Banner established himself in XWE by going undefeated, defeating opponents such as Diamond Jack, Shawn Holly and Alan Rogue.
Soon after, Michaels began feuding with Bullet Runnels after Runnels's Sister, Latoya Runnels,Began an On Screen Relationship with Michaels. Michaels defeated Runnels in their first singles match since Michaels Debut as well as the rematch, after which Latoya celebrated Michaels's victory over her brother by kissing him in the middle of the ring. The Following Week Michaels Defeated Runnels with help from Latoya to gain entry to the Battle Royal for the Vacant XWE World Heavyweight Championship after the current Champion Kane Mitchell was injured and forced to Vacate the title.
At the Courage 2006 Pay Per View, Michaels Won the World Heavyweight Championship by lastly eliminating The Great Milenko.
World Heavyweight Champion(2006-2007)[]
The week after he won the Title, Michaels appeared on Nitro celebrating his title win with Latoya Later that night, Michaels won his first defense of the title against Milenko, who came out interupting his celebration with Latoya and challenging him to a match. Milenko received a rematch eight days later on the following episode of Nitro, where he lost Via DQ after Latoya Interfered when Milenko got the upper hand on Michaels.
On the December 4, 2006 episode of Nitro, Michaels teamed up with fellow Lion's Den graduate Matt Hart and defeated the World Tag Team Champions, Red X and Impact Kid, the following Editions there was a rematch between the two teams this time with the Tag Team Titles on the line but Michaels and Hart failed to win, After the match Michaels was attacked by Current Number one contender for his title AJ Spears just a week before they were set to face off at The X-Mas Rumble, At The X-Mas Rumble Michaels Finished Off 2006 with a huge win when he forced Spears to tap out to Retain the World Title.
On the January 8 episode of Nitro, Michaels was forced to put his title on the line against Alan Rogue, which ended in a disqualification, when Rogue grabbed the referee's jersey. Due to this, Jayden Murphy scheduled a rematch the following week, but this time it was Michaels himself that was disqualified. Murphy then scheuduled another rematch, this time a No Disqualification match on January 22 episode of Nitro, Michaels won the match and retained his title. With this win, Michaels became the longest reigning Champion since Kane Mitchell's Reign.
Michaels went on a short losing Streak for the next couple of weeks, but managed to retain his title in a defence on Nitro against Mikey Mendoza via DQ, Michaels was dropped from Television for the next couple of weeks whilst he recovered from a Minor Injury, Michaels then returned on the April 23rd edition of Nitro cutting a promo about how he had beaten everyone worth beating in XWE and how he wanted someone to step forward to challenge him, just as he finished speaking Kane Mitchell returned to XWE for the first time since November 2006, the two just smirked at each other before nodding signalling they would soon face of for the title.
The following week Michaels defeated Mitchell for his first clean win since January, a Rematch was scheduled for the upcoming Lockdown Pay Per View but Mitchell once again left the Company leaving the Main Event for Lockdown Up in the air, on the night of Lockdown Michaels stood in the middle of the ring waiting to find out who his opponent would be, he was soon attacked from behind by Jack Mercer before the referee called for the bell to start the match, Despite being attacked before the match Michaels still managed to win after Latoya Runnels came running out from the back to distract the referee, the following Night Michaels threatened to walk out on XWE unless they were willing to let him work a lesser schedule which They ultimatly agreed to, Micheals then disappeared from Television for the next two months, He returned to Nitro on august 6th after the Board Of Directors said he either returned or be forced to hand back his title, Michaels cutted a promo the following week about how he was sick of the direction the company was going in, this lead to Chase Owens co-founder of XWE coming out and challenging Michaels for the title, Michael declined then attacked Chase who had turned his back on Michaels cementing him now as a heel.
In the weeks leading up to Against All Odd's Chase continued to challenge Michaels for the title and every week he was met with the answer No and a sneak attack from the champion, On the week before Against All Odd's New General Manager Kane Mitchell made the match for the Pay Per View, Despite allot of Complaining from Michaels the match happened and Michaels won under suspicious circumstances which lead to the match being restarted, with Michaels winning Via Submission it was reported later that he was suffered a hip injury that would stop him from competing.To keep a presence on television, he began commentating on Nitro from September 10,During his commentary, he criticized Shawn Holly every week on his wrestling abilities and lack of personality, this would lead to Holly Challenging him but due to Michaels Injury he consentaly rejected his challenge, stating that Holly would have to prove himself before getting a shot at the title. At the end of December, Michaels left the commentary team after assaulting Shawn Holly on Nitro stating he had finally proved himself worth a shot at the title, the following week at the X-Mas Rumble Pay Per View Michaels Defeated Shawn Holly In a last man standing match to retain the title, this was the first time since September that the title had been defended.
The Italian Job and Departure(2008)[]
The Night after X-Mas Rumble Michaels defeated Sean Mendezin which would Mendez last match until three months later, after the match Michaels cut a promo about how their was no one left for him to beat so he may aswell vacate the title and move on to something else, This lead to Nico Giovanni coming out from the back and getting into a war of words with Michaels, since Nico had just won number one contendership at X-Mas Rumble he felt like Michaels was trying to duck him, The Following week Michaels Teamed up with Matt Hart to defeat Nico Giovanni and AJ Spears after the match Michaels did a worked shoot on Giovanni and XWE as a whole, It was confirmed the two would face of at New Year Superbrawl in Milian Italy for the world title, In the weeks leading up to the pay per view their was speculation that XWE Officials had grown tired of Michaels and his attitude after he no showed a promotional Event, On the night of New Year Superbrawl is was specutlated that Michaels showed up to the arena an hour after the show had kicked off, during the match itself Nico Giovanni placed Michaels in his own Murder City Lock submission finisher Even though Michaels did not submit to the Murder City Lock, The referee called for the bell as if he had, on Jayden Murphy's orders. This resulted in Michaels "losing" the World Heavyweight Championship to Giovanni. The show soon went off air as Michaels flipped out and began cursing The Owner of XWE before spitting in his face, Not much else is know about what happened backstage afterwards but Michaels walked out on the company and never came back.

Personal Life[]
After joining Xtreme Wrestling Entertainment Michaels began dating Daisy Hayden, who was working there as an interviewer,however they broke up sometime after Michaels became World Champion. Michaels was dating Latoya Runnels between 2007 and 2008 but the pair split after Michaels Left the company, Sometime in 2008 he began dating former XWE Co-Worker Maxie Clarkson the two later married in 2009.
Tyson has a son named Kaine Michaels, a daughter named Calleigh Michaels with Maxie Clarkson, he also adopted Maxie's Son Rocky Hart who is the son of Tyson's former Tag Team Partner Matt Hart.
In November 2011 Tyson Filed for Divorce from Maxie Clarkson, the following month their Divorce was finalized and they agreed to joint custody of their children.
