Early life[]

Tyler James Callahan was born in Toronto, Ontario Canada but soon moved to Manhattan, New York where he was raised by his father, Dean. Tyler would go to the wrestling shows that his father competed in and that was when he aspired to become a professional wrestling just like his father. Tyler was a good kid, went to school and graduated from high school with stellar grades. Tyler before he pursued wrestling was into acting and even took part in various school plays while he was in high school. Tyler would move back to Toronto for a few years and started his wrestling career in the Toronto based EWA promotion.

Professional wrestling career[]

Revolutionary Wrestling Entertainment / RWE (2011)[]

Callahan signed a contract with RWE along with his brother and was sent to their developmental brand under his real name. The first show is scheduled to be a PPV, Night of Champions however the details of the first card unclear at the moment. Tyler is scheduled to compete at Night of Champions against a mystery opponent, in the opening match of the night. Tyler faced Development Trainer, Jennifer Rodriguez and lost thanks due in part to Jennifer blindsiding Tyler and getting the win. Following this, Tyler's brother John was released from the company.

After RWE re-opened it's door, Callahan wasted little time in signing with the company once again as a face and a short while later RWE would sever it's ties to SCW, following a final special show thus having Callahan brought up to Mayhem. Shortly after this the company folded leaving Callahan without work so he decided to take time off from wrestling and focus on his acting career.

True Honor Wrestling / THW (2012)[]

After taking nearly a year away from wrestling, Callahan signed a contract with True Honor Wrestling. Callahan made his debut on the April 3rd, 2012 episode of Evolution and suffered a loss to Justin Feight following the match Callahan speared Feight establishing himself as a heel. On the April 10th, 2012 episode of Evolution Callahan was able to get an upset victory over former THW World Champion and Hall of Famer, Jack Napier. On the April 17th, 2012 episode of Evolution Callahan was able to secure another victory this time over Landon Crabtree. Following his victory Callahan would be attacked by Nick Larsson who was tired of hearing about Callahan's upset victory over Jack Napier the previous week only for the General Manager Julia Rivera to come out and make a match between Larsson and Callahan for Lethal Lottery where the winner will become the number one contender for the THW Evolution Championship.

At Lethal Lottery, Callahan was able to defeat Nick Larsson in an Ultimate X Match to become the number one contender for the THW Evolution Championship currently held by Harley St. James. On the May 1st, 2012 episode of Evolution Callahan teamed with Harley St. James to take on the THW Tag Team Champions in Minimimax and Brian Gun however the two were defeated. Later in the night when Harley was being looked at in the trainers room she would be attacked by Keegan Ryan despite the damage already being done, Callahan would make the save teasing a possible face turn. On the following May 8th, 2012 episode of Evolution Callahan faced Keegan Ryan in a one on one match and was able to pick up the victory after a pretty close contest, in storyline Ryan had started a rumor that Callahan was having an affair with St. James behind their respective partners' backs. Later on in the night on Evolution following Harley St. James' victory over Noah Van Dyke, Keegan Ryan attacked her from behind once again however Callahan ran down for the save and landed a few chair shots to the head of Ryan before going for a one last shot, however Keegan was able to duck out of the way as Callahan drilled St. James by accident.

Callahan would challenge St. James for her Evolution Championship however he would be unsuccessful. Callahan would go on to compete in the annual Gateway to Glory match however he was unsuccessful in his attempt to win the match. On the following episode of Evolution Callahan would face Jack Napier a man he defeated not long after he debuted in what was being billed as a rematch between the two men. Callahan almost had the match won however a timely counter from Napier allowed him to get a victory over Callahan. On the June 12th, 2012 episode of Evolution Callahan was able to get a victory over Noah Van Dyke with some help from Jack Napier, whom Van Dyke is feuding with.

Following Callahan's brief rivalry with Harley St. James and Aiden Reid he has entered into a rivalry with Keegan Ryan which started after Ryan attacked Callahan on the May 22nd, 2012 episode of Evolution. On the June 5th, 2012 episode of Evolution Keegan attempted to attack Lance Harris and set him on fire however Callahan managed to chase off Ryan. The week before Heartbreak Hell, Callahan would suffer a loss to the returning Gemini only to be brutally beaten and bloodied following the match. Later in the night while getting tended to Keegan Ryan would target Callahan, wanting to inflict more damage to him, only to attack his wife as the two are scheduled to meet at Heartbreak Hell.
