History[]
Trent Sickness has garnerned much success everywhere he's been, including ASCW, and currently EUW. This is his story.
Early Life[]
Born September 8th, 1982 in Augusta, Georgia, Trent Harris was an unplanned and unwanted pregnancy to his mother Stephanie Harris, an unwed chronic alcoholic. After they had moved to Athens, Georgia when he was 6 her drinking got worse. Trent was abused by his mother throughout his childhood. Every day his mother would drink and every night she would beat him senseless and then throw him into the basement locking the door at the top of the stairs. The basement became a sick, and twisted sanctuary for young Trent. He would live off of the insects and rats in that basement since his mother never fed him. Trent would spend all of the night and most of the morning in that basement until his hungover mother unlocked the door on her way out to work.
For years Trent would run around the streets of Athens, stealing cars and gym equipment and other things. Trent always abandoned the cars and since he didn't have a record he was never caught. He stole the gym equipment in order to turn his basement into a self-improvement training room for himself after he got beaten. He figured that if he trained enough then eventually he wouldn't have to put up with his mother's shit any longer, and that's exactly what happened. The abuse continued till Trent was 12 years old until one night when Trent's mother went to throw him into the basement and he retaliated. He kicked her in the gut and then through her through an upstairs window, down 2 stories head first onto the front lawn. He was sent to a juvenile detention center, on second degree homicide charges, just outside of Athens until the day after he turned 18 when he was released for good behavior.
ASCW[]
While in the pen, Trent had kept on working out and met a few guys who had shared his same background. One of which was the nephew of a wrestling promoter simply named Mr. Jones. The kid talked to Trent about the wrestling business and told him that with his physic Trent could do very well. Trent became very intrested in the business and told the kid before he got out that he should put in a good word about him and get him a job. The kid agreed and when he was released, about 2 years before Trent, he went straight to Mr. jones and told him about Trent. Mr. Jones immediatley went to visit Trent in the center, and discussed a future in ASCW, Mr. Jones' company. He and Trent agreed to a deal that would send Trent to a development territory for 5 years before he would be brought up to ASCW. The main reason Trent had decided to join the company was because of the current talent that headlined the shows, men such as BBH and Kidman Hardy.
When Trent was released he was broke, had no car, no friends or family but he knew that he had a job and only one other thing.... that basement. He walked home from the center and found that his former home had been boarded up and evicted. He went to the backyard and saw that the stairs to the basement had been boarded up aswell. He broke open the doors and broke into the basement of his home. He calmly walked over to the heavy bag he had placed up many years ago, and began to train again as if nothing had happened but knowing that wrestling was his future. Trent waited 4 years before he actually went to go to the development territory, and in going he met a man who was just about to be brought up to ASCW in Ash Matthews. Ash and Trent never really became friends, strickly colleuges, Ash was the one who suggested Trent's in ring name Trent Sickness and sadly was brought up just 2 months after Trent started. Trent was in the minor leagues for a year and then was brought up to ASCW just 5 months after he turned 23. He caught up with Ash and Ash told him of his vast dislike of Mr. Jones and his style of running a company. Ash decided that he would create his own company and put Jones' ASCW outta business. Trent was skeptical of the idea at first, especially since he had just won the vacant ASCW Adrenaline Title over Ash. Ash realized Trent's potential and that he was a Main-Eventer in the making. Ash then asked Trent to join him in this new company as the first superstar to sign. Trent reluctantly agreed to sign a 5-year contract with Ash's Extreme United Wrestling as the first superstar and took with him the ASCW Adrenaline Championship, in which he through out the window on his trip to sign said contract.
EUW[]
ASCW quickly folded after Extreme United Wrestling was formed and Trent flourished when he joined. After joining EUW Trent was immediately established as a Main Eventer. Trent first and foremost started a stable that would later be voted as “The Greatest Stable In EUW History”. That stable was called Snake Eyes, along side fellow creator and ally Athen, Morty Jacobs, Nitron, Drake, Fallen One and Violet the stable was a force to be reckoned with for the very early days of EUW. Trent was then quickly thrown into a tourney that in the end would determine the first ever EUW World Heavyweight Champion. In the first round Trent squashed Kaikuto in a tables match putting him through 3 tables and thus ending his career. The only match left that Trent needed to win in order to cement his place in the finals was a Triple Threat Cage Match against Skull and Matt Baily. In a tough match Trent escaped the Steel structure and was to face a man who would become his greatest rival and most respected foe at the first ever EUW Pay-Per-View Pain In Vain. That man was ‘The Rising Star’ Gabe Newell.
In a hard fought battle that went back and forth several times, Gabe pulled out the victory over Trent with the help of his manager and part-time partner Jannety. After a series of heart-breaking defeats Trent left Snake Eyes and walked alone for almost the rest of his career. The stable broke up shortly there after. Trent and Gabe would fight a number of times over the next 2 months which included a 2005 Match Of The Year candidate at July’s PPV Re-Volt. A King Of The Mountain match between Champion Gabe Newell, Nick Fudge, Rob Kelleher, Skull and of course Trent Sickness. An epic war ensued as the 5 men battled and fought their way all over the arena wowing the fans. The match ended when Gabe "Pillmanized" Trent’s neck, severly crushing his vocal chords, and proceeded to place the World Title on the ring, winning the match. This event set up a rematch between Gabe and Trent at the next Saturday Night Suicide in a tables match. In a shocking twist and to Gabe’s obvious dismay EUW Owner Ash Matthews gave Gabe the night off and put his manager Jannety in his place in a move that Ash considered a “lock” given Trent’s weakened and obviously battered state. Trent shot a promo earlier in the week that will go down as one of the most memorable promos in EUW history, spewing blood from his mouth and barely speaking with a severely raspy voice. Trent to everyone’s surprise defeated Jannety and used his finisher “The Plague” to plant Jannety through a table to win. A match was then set in stone at the next PPV between Trent and Gabe for the World Title, the stipulation was of Trent’s choosing.
He chose to face Gabe in his specialty, a casket match, and even went as far as to build the casket himself. In the match Gabe looked to have the match won but in an amazing comeback Trent used “The Plague” to put Gabe in the casket and end the match. After the match Trent called down the former members of Snake Eyes and was joined by Nitron, Lee Hunter and Fallen One. The moment was glorious as the crowd chanted for Athen.... but for only about 5 minutes as Trent turned on his former stable mates destroying them all before Athen showed up and chased Trent up the aisle. Athen challenged Trent to a Dog Collar match at Under Destruction and Trent smiling his wicked devilish smile simply nodded. Trent would go on to lose that controversial match to Athen and ended his reign as champion after only one month. Trent was given a break though as he was placed into a Triple Threat Iron Man Match for the EUW Pure Championship against then Champion The Pure Z, and Jeremy Sterling. Trent walked away the winner and the new EUW Pure Champion with ease. Later on that month Trent, in what was probably the most shocking turn of events in EUW History, joined forced with his arch-rival Gabe Newell and formed the powerful tag team The Two Kings.
At the next PPV Besieged Trent was scheduled to pull double duty in defending the EUW Pure Title and wrestle in a 4 Team TLC match for the EUW Tag Titles, the only title Trent hadn’t won. On the night of the event, Trent decided not to even defend his Pure Title and as result was stripped of the title which in turn was then placed onto Seamus Corcoran. Trent however did wrestle in the TLC match against Mirrored Perfection, The Football All-Stars and The 2 Losers from the Pure Title vote. In the match Gabe turning back to his evil ways turned on Trent and placed him into a casket while the match was still going on. Gabe then lit the casket on fire with Trent inside. Mirrored Perfection won the match and after the crew had done put out the fire and opened up the casket, it was empty, and Trent was no where to be found. He would not resurface until 2 months later when he was named as the mystery opponent in a No-Limit Fatal Four Way Match for the EUW World Heavyweight Title against the champion Orge Lambart, Leo Merris, and his arch-enemy Gabe Newell. Trent got a tremendous pop from the crowd with his return and not only that, he walked away the victor as he began his second reign as EUW World Champion. Trent would go on to hold the title for 4 months, the longest anyone has ever held the title, not to mention he was the first and only man so far to hold the very prestigious title twice.
Along the way Trent won the EUW Tag Team Titles at the next PPV after his return at Nightmare On Christmas, Coldest Blood. The shocking thing is that Trent turned on his partner in the match “Jesus In Tights” Nick Fudge and Trent won the titles as only the second man in history to hold them by himself, the first being Matteo Bersanelli. Trent quickly lost the titles but he didn’t care, the only thing he cared for in the world was his precious EUW World Title which he then defended at the February PPV HardKore Roots in only the second ever King Of The Mountain Match. He would defend the title against Chris Apollo, Jeremy Sterling, Skull, Seamus Corcoran and once again Gabe Newell. He would retain the title and become the winner of the second KOTM after what is already being named as a 2006 MOTY candidate. Then the unthinkable happened, Trent defended the EUW World Title at the next PPV Darkest Days against #1 Contender Seamus Corcoran, he lost the title. At the next PPV Victory Road Trent was placed into a Royal Rumble which would determine the #1 Contender to Seamus’ World Title in 2 months at Pain In Vain and he won after physically draining himself. The next month at New Beginnings Trent was scheduled to fight in an All-Star Tag Team Match teaming with Athen to take on Nick Fudge and Matt Shield where he would suffer his first pin fall loss since losing the title to Seamus. Trent was downtrodden even though he was #1 contender and decided not to show up to couple of the house shows he was booked for.
Susequently on June 5th, 2006 Trent Sickness was officially fired from EUW. Once again he fell into obscurity. He was not seen for more than a month and then out of the blue people started to talk about him again wondering where he was and when, if ever, would he be back. Sure enough Trent re-appeared in EUW on July 11th at the Re-Volt PPV attacking Nick Fudge and helping Chris Apollo to win the EUW World Heavyweight Title. In doing so Trent had re-invented himself as a now more sophisticated and way classier individual along with fellow members of The Empire, World Champion Apollo, Greg Nitron and Jordan Forrest. Trent’s first match back would be at the next PPV, Hourglass Hours, where he would take on up-and-comer King Carter, Matteo Bersanelli, Tom Roberts and how fitting his arch-nemesis Gabe Newell in a 5 man Money In The Bank Ladder Match to determine the #1 contender to the EUW World Title. However Trent lost that match and from there left EUW for quite some time starting on September 26, 2006. After a extensive absence Trent returned to the ring in late April of 2007. He jumped right back into form and destoryed many new comers in his wake. After beating down a few competitors, Trent decided to take yet another break, this time only to wait for better competition to reveal itself. It finally did almost a year later in early March of 2008 where he returned at the PPV Back 2 Roots. In his first match back Trent defeated a man by the name of Matt Rodriguez but followed that win up with a loss in a tag match and then a win over Christian Stephans in a singles match. Time can only tell how far or how long Trent will go in this most recent stint in EUW.

The crowd then knows who is coming out and the Titantron lights up with a black screen on it in sketchy red letters are "T S" Then "The Thing That Should Not Be" by Metallica starts and the arena begins to shake. A flurry of red and orange lights begin to swirl around the arena as the song begins to kick into full gear. Then Trent Sickness walks out from behind the curtain wearing his old school cut off jean shorts and white wife beater.. His head is looking straight forward at the ring eyes locked onto the squared circle. The crowd cheers immensly as Trent begins to walk down the aisle. Trent stares straight forward at the ring ahead not even caring about the fans that cheer and reach out for him. He walks calmly over to the stairs and climbs them giving the crowd determined looks with each step. Trent climbs into the ring and walks to the center of the ring. His eyes lock onto the camera as he throws his arms out in a christ-like pose then bring them slowly in front of his chest making a X shape.
