Early Life[]
Trenton Alexander James was born to Starlette Rose Montgomery and Robert Alexander James on June 28th, 1984 at the Detroit Hope Hospital. Trent's life was very good, his father was a Steel Worker and his mother was a Nurse at the Detroit Hope Hospital. Trent welcome a younger brother, Joshua Michael James in 1986. He adored his younger brother. They were two peas in a pod.
During a heavy rainstorm on May 9th, 1988 both of Trent's parents were killed in a car accident caused by a drunk driver. After the somber burial of their parents, Trent and Josh went to live with their grandparents Dorothy and Michael. Both Dorothy and Michael raised the boys as if they were their own and helped guide them along the way helping them mold their love in wrestling and life. After graduation from Rosevelt High School (Minneapolis,MN) in 2003 Trent went head first into training to become a professional wrestler. Trent heard about a Wrestling school called The Trax headed by a former wrestler named Christopher 'Mayhem' Mathews in Minneapolis.
Trent trained hard for two years straight at the Trax and finally got his wrestling career start in the now defunct AWF.

This crew of superstars changed the face of Independent Wrestling along side with Silver, Asylum and other superstars from the now closed GPW organization. The run was short lived as Trent James opted out of his TW contract within the first year and left to be home with his growing family. Soon after the TW closed.

Ultimate Championship Wrestling (UCW)[]
Overall Records - 11W - 14L - 1D
Trent James has started his career back where it all started the UCW (Ultimate Championship Wrestling). He is gunning for its top prize and currently, Requiem has it and Trent James will do anything to take it from his waist. After failing to gain the UCW Tag Team Championship at Project X-Mas Trent vowed he would take his aggression out on anyone and everyone in the UCW and in a 6 Man Battle Royal All or Nothing Match he will do just that.
After losing in the 6 Man Battle Royal All or Nothing match against his competitors Trent moved onto a match against the current UCW World Heavyweight Champion in a Halls of Hell match for his championship. The match was hard fought and in the end, Trent James fell just shy of getting the championship he has been vowing to get since his return to UCW. After a humiliating loss at Project Blood Fall 2 Trent moved onto a match against James Marsh-Asher and Chris Fenix at Modern Warfare 5. This is where Trent James showed UCW what he was made of and beat both men to claim his #1 Contender to Asylum's UCW World Heavyweight Championship.
Trent was promised a UCW World Heavyweight Championship against Asylum at the Re-Ascendence to Glory PPV but Asylum was injured at Modern Warfare 5 and he had to back out of the match. In a move by UCW Management, the returning RDS was placed in a match against Trent James. After finding out the news Trent welcomed the challenge of trying to beat a UCW sure fire Hall of Famer like RDS. But he soon found out it was a Last Man Standing match and he was even more welcoming. Now Trent James is not to far away from one of the biggest matches of his UCW career as Re-Ascendence to Glory is set for June 28th.. Time will tell if Trent James has what it takes to overcome RDS.
After beating RDS Trent went on a winning spree climbing the UCW ranking and then landed face to face with a man who he had, a past with, Asylum. At Modern Warfare 6 both men were going to face one another for the UCW World Heavyweight Championship, but Asylum opted out of his contract and left the UCW. UCW Management said it was time to award the championship to a man who deserved it and was screwed out of it twice in the past Trent James. Now Trent has the UCW World Heavyweight Championship and an opponent. Legacy. After Warfare 6 and Legacy was announced his opponent from Broken Alliances Legacy came down and decimated Trent James with help of his friend KOTA. Holding his UCW World Heavyweight Championship over his unconscious body Legacy showed Trent and the rest of the UCW he is the man who will take the championship from Trent's hands.
Trent James fought hard against the establishment and Mr. Hendrickson for months before he wasn't booked. He was always in attendance backstage but never booked for a show until the Decade of Destruction Pay-Per-View and then only twice more before grabbing the UCW World Heavyweight Championship Briefcase in a Stairway to Heavens match. But after taking the briefcase he never got his shot at the champion, Frostbite, but was instead released from his contract permanently from UCW and put back on the market for another company to pick him up.

WrestlePower Wrestling (WPW)[]
Overall Records - 17W - 14L - 1D
Trent James arrived in the WPW on behalf of four of his students requests. (Desmond Troy, Jackson Strong, Brent Richards & Logan Wentworth).
Trent was going for the 'Drowned in Minnesota' a modified Springboard 450 Splash when his foot gave way and he fell to the outside of the ring somewhat catching himself but not injuring his already somewhat injured back at a house show for aother Independent Wrestling Organization. Upon doing this Trent lost his chance at the WPW Champion Killing Joke and a chance to become the WPW Champion.
Trent has been out of the wrestling game for two weeks rehabilitating his back but during this two week span his best friend Chris Blazer lost his battle to cancer. This was a set back for Trent as it took a good week within the two he's been out to recoup from this set back. But now Trent is back in the saddle, in the gym with his brother Joshua getting ready for his return to the WPW in the coming weeks.
The Turn
The real Trent James has returned. The King of Swing, the real Main Event. No longer is Trent going to allow anyone to dictate what he does, no longer will he sit idly by and allow others to reap his rewards. After noticing that he wasn't being true to himself Trent turned on everyone in his life. He believes that they were just holding him back. However he still loves his wife and children he believes that he has to do this not for just them but for himself. So prepare for the return of the darker side of Trent James.
The Return
After WPW Management complained about his turn to the sadistic Trent James, Trent took time off to reevaluate his career path in the WPW. Upon returning he was the stripped down version of himself which he called a 'Generic Wrestler'. Even though he compied to WPW Management they still used him as a 'Mat Tester'. When WPW closed their doors for a month WPW Management issued the following statement about Trent James;
- "Word around the locker room is that there is allot of heat around Trent James after recent comments he made about the booking team prior. Reportedly he made allegations that he never recieved a proper push since entering WPW, and he has constantly had to start over. These comments have left the head booker of the company furious. Many claim that he could be heard verbally assualting some over the phone after hearing this. This hypothetically be because of two main attributing factors: 1. Trent James has made many personal storyline changes since the arrival leaving WPW always on edge with what to do with him. 2. Trent James has been involved in more Number 1 contender matches this year than anyone else. Not to mention the booking staff went out of there way to get him in the SYS match, a match in which many believed he phoned in the effort."
- "Frankly, the mood backstage is that for all the excuses he makes about his career, he has yet to show the passion needed to be a top name in this company."
Upon reading that release by WPW Management Trent James released an official press release on his website;
- "I see WPW Management has decided to go public about my disconcern with their usage of my character. I've told WPW Management over and over again what and where I see myself and when Ido something they disregard it fully. When I was establishing my back story they came forth and said I needed to do something different, something as they said "More Exciting". I told WPW Management that I was establishing a true backstory and not some WWE Style story which would go over with the fans for a day and then they would see through it. In essence I believed WPW fans to be more intelligent then that but seems WPW doesn't believe so.
- I recently went through a rough spot in my life and decided to try my old gimmick of the chair throwing and using sick bastard I had done before. WPW Management gave me the green light to do so and when I did it I got a win or so and that was it. WPW held me back again telling me to become more original to my personality. I told WPW Management that I had and they disregarded me once again.
- After that I left for a bit and came back as a stripped down version of myself much like a generic wrestler of sorts and did what they asked. I still don't get it I do what I can and nothing. WPW Management is right I did get more shots than most and when I pulled out all the stops they still opted for the other competitor even when they "phoned in" their promo and did their backstage thing. So for them to come out and say I am "phoning in" my gimmick I am insulted and truely am wondering what is next.
- Don't worry WPW I am not going to complain about what you are doing backstage like you obviously want to. Mudslinging can be your thing now I don't care. When you return in July I will be here waiting for a chance to wrestle once more but I am going to be what I am and thats the backstory telling, diatrabe promoing Trent James that I was before. I am not going to go away from what I am any more to please your WPW Style. Shoots and Kayfabe is boring and has been done too much, you need to step out of your box and realize that.
- Trent James is in WPW to make an Impact and not to conform to a style he doesn't believe in. Believe what you want about me WPW I am me and thats what I strive to be.
- Be true to yourself Wrestling World and God Speed.
- Your Friend Trent James"
It is currently unknown what Trent James is going to do with his WPW contract coming up at the end of the month. Many believe he is going to leave WPW for a more prosperous career in the UCW.
The Marvelous TJ
After resigning with WPW Trent James was given a new gimmick and new name, Unbenounced to him. As a part of his contract and his ability to wrestle in the WPW he has to follow orders of his enemy the WPW Management Team. Trent James has changed his gimmick from the Father but yet somewhat cocky Trent James to "The Marvelous" TJ a metrosexual with a flair for the pristine aspects in life. Trent has fell into this new gimmick and has come to like some aspects of it but still shows his disdain for it as it goes against what he really is. After being "Perfect" Peter Paley last week as "The Marvelous" TJ, Trent has to face another man who wants to knock some sense into him Lance Burkehart, but Trent has something up his sleeves with Lance Burkehart. PerfleXion. A new tag team. We will see how WPW Management deals with this kink in their plans for Trent.
The Master Plan
After Trent realized Lance Burkehart was nothing more than a waste of time he decided to bring in his brother Joshua James to the WPW. But once again WPW Management had other plans for him. Instead of being teamed with his brother Joshua Mike Adams chose a man who has it out for Trent James, one Mykal Adams. These two men have had a heated rivalry as of late and the pairing is once of suspicion. Now the two enemies must work as a team against T-Dog, OBG and Flawless LLC at the Greed PPV for the WPW Tag Team Championship. Trent has broken bread with an enemy before but this might be the one that breaks him. After Mykal Adams wasn't a good tag team partner at Greed and upon losing the chance to become WPW Tag Team Champion Trent flipped out and assaulted a fan. Although no charges were pressed his fan following took a small dip.
BE JEALOUS
Trent is once again on a roll in the WPW after capitalizing on his opponents at the recent TNT show with his brother Joshua. At the end of the show Trent played mind tricks on the current WPW Heavyweight Champion, The Stallion, by turning off the lights, entering the ring and then exiting leaving a message on the Championship... Be Jealous.

After becoming increasingly frustrated with WPW Management Trent James decided it was time to find a new home. Although he is still scheduled to defend his WPW Florida State Championship Trent found a home in the EWE. Within the ranks there are many familiar faces, even his somewhat mentor The Judge.
The first match Trent would be granted in the EWE was against his mentor, The Judge. In the end of the match, Trent's hand was raised in victory, even though there was controversy.

After being misued in the WPW Trent James put himself back on the market and before he knew it he was offered a contract from a mysterious caller calling on behalf of a new organization called Pro Wrestling Evolution. Trent decided to give them a shot and he is there with other past WPW Superstars such as Dan Murph, Phillip and Jason Bennett and others. Soon after PWE opened their doors it closed them. They released a statement stating the following;
- "Due to our financial situation and the fact our financial backers backed out PWE has come to the decision to close their doors for the time being. At the current moment all PWE Superstars will be paid a severance package and will be welcomed back if we reopen."
After the statement was released Trent James asked for his released stating he was unhappy with the PWE as a company and no longer wants ties to its management. After a good three months absence and a new owner PWE reopens it doors with all new talent. The only one who came back to the PWE was Trent James. Now with his brother at his side and an enemy in the midst Trent looks to capture some PWE Gold. The first show in three months will be a redoing of the Sluts and Slots show. After hearing about the SXWA from one of his greatest friends, Chris Blazer, Trent James joined the fold in this rebirth of the prolific organization. Trent was thrusted into the Main Event at the first show named Wednesday Night Cutting Edge where he beat one unknown upstart Logan Wentworth for the SXWA Heavyweight Championship. The match was hard fought and both men showed their strengths but in the end the 'Main Event' showed he was of a different caliber than Logan Wentworth as he pinned him in the middle of the ring for the three count. Trent James has become the first SXWA Heavyweight Champion in over five years joining the ranks of Big Gun, Johnny Hollywood and Mayhem as the only four men privelaged to hold this championship.
Trent James has said he wants to evolutionize the SXWA Heavyweight Championship and take it out of the darkness that was the old SXWA and breathe new life into it. Trent James is one of those stars that can do this. He is a fan favorite and a favorite of many backstage along with the current General Manager of the SXWA one Winston Wolfe. "There is so much promise in Trent James, he is one of the best in the game right now." Winston Wolfe said in a recent interview.

After that, the flood-gates opened up. Now Trent is awaiting his first match from the Williams Arena in Minneapolis Minnesota against Barney Green. It is going to be a sensational Match!

Rankings[]
- Ranked #24 on the EWS Top 100 of 2008
- Ranked #19 on the WPW Top 25 of 2008
Qualities[]
- Natural Talent: Known the world over for his in-ring persona, charisma and ltalent Trent James has become one of those wrestlers you love to watch wrestle. Many people have talent, grown inside the ring for years and years but Trent is different. Trent has the natural talent, the pure and raw talent many superstars wish they had. From the first day he stepped into a ring he showed his natural talent. He has become what he is because of this talent.
- Arrogance: Although he has been a fan favorite or a babyface you can tell that he had a lot of arrogance within in. Now that he has turned out to be a heel it is extruding though him in his speach and actions. Although many people can say its purely confidence in his art we know its because he is just damn arrogant. He believes he can out do all because of his strive to survive but sometimes it can overcome him and cost him a match. When he thinks he has a match won he is an arrogant, cocky son of a bitch who struts his stuff and mocks the person who's in the ring with him. Arrogance over confidence in this one!
- Daredevil: Trent James is a highflying, aerialist with the speed of most Lucha Libre style wrestlers. He can hit you from all angles and heights throwing up his hands and laying his body on the line. He will do whatever it takes to win a match and sometimes the daredevil within takes him out of the match.
- Speed and Agility: Due to his compact size and his body type Trent has become known as one of the fastest and most agile wrestlers in the business. He can come at you like a bullet train and hit you from the most insane angles because of his agility. Trent uses his limberness to his advantage to get out of "tight" situations.
- Intelligence: Trent is very intelligent outside the ring it translates into his matches. Trent studied hard in school while working on getting into the ring. He believes the first step toward success in the ring is to be successful in school and life. Trent brings this intelligence to the wrestling world as he tries to rid it of the waste known as the "knuckle draggers" the monsters who can't put two words in a sentence successfully. Intelligence is a virtue as you need it to know your opponent.
Trademark Moves[]
- Shockwave: 450 Splash. Used in a variety of ways but Trent loves to use this as a final resort in a high impact match. Uses it off of cages for the ultimate impact. Shockwave Deluxe is a variation used off top of cages or high structures.
- Onward to Resurrection: Angel Wings Razors Edge. A trademark moved not used much by Trent. This move is a last resort move when it seems like nothing else will work.
- Sleep Walking: Running Enziguri Kick. One of Trent's favorite moves. Usually sets up the Shockwave.
- Saviour Shock: Firemans Carry Driver. A move borrowed from Chris Blazer. Used to set up the Drowned in Minnesota.
- Drowned in Minnesota: Springboard 450 Splash. Another move borrowed from Chris Blazer. This move is used when facing more of a high impact style wrestler with the same capabilities of Trent. Used to hype of the crowd as well as it is harder than a normal 450 Splash.
Finishing Moves[]
- Sensations from Below: Jumping Impact DDT. This is Trent's most used Finisher. Trent can pull this off of almost anything and out any position. Most commonly on a stunned opponent but can be used off the top rope as well. A variation of it called the The End of Days is used when jumping over the ropes and taking an opponent to the mat.
- Evolution Driver: Michinoku Driver. One of Trent's most under used finishers. A last resort if you will. Used to put away tougher opponents normally right before a Shockwave.
- Sensory Overload: Styles Clash. Trent's most famous move and one that wins the most matches. Variations include the Omega Overload (Top rope Styles Clash) and the Devine Overload (Styles Clash through a table or onto a chair).
- The High Society: Corkscrew Senton. Done usually off the top rope but sometimes Trent will but his body and his career on the line and do it off the top of the cage. This move has also been done by AJ Styles which he calls the (Spiral Tap).
