Tony Harrison is a wrestler currently working for Global Extreme Wrestling.
Early Life[]
Tony Harrison was athletic as a youth, playing on his school rugby team. During his time at university he joined both the boxing and amateur wrestling societies. It was also during this time that he developed an interest in professional wrestling. Upon graduation he took up part-time training whilst working professionally in marketing.
Career[]
Harrison was a permanent fixture on many local shows and eventually decided that he wanted to try his hand at wrestling as a vocation. He contacted Global Extreme Wrestling, with whom he trained extensively throughout 2007, starting to work dark matches in the autumn of that year. In December 2007 he debuted on GEW's Friday Night Chaos picking up a victory over Nic Williams, with the gimmick of an inept yet egotistical jobber whose wins come about through accidents either outside his control or (more frequently) born of his own incompetence. In the summer, after a short absence, he returned from a tour of southeast Asia with a variety of martial arts moves added to his repertoire.
Personal Life[]
Harrison has a wife of four years, Ingrid, with whom he has a two-year-old son named Charlie, and a younger brother who attended school with Savannah Lyons. Lyons remains friends with both Harrison brothers, and Tony was partially responsible for Lyons and The Natural Ones being contracted to GEW.
