The Untouchables are a Professional wrestling Tag team and stable, currently consisting of Dan Kaeden and Johnny Gunn.  The team started as a tag team of lower-class outsider-type wrestlers, which grew to prominence in the CWF in 2008.

History[]

Championship Wrestling Federation (CWF)[]

The Untouchables were formed in 2007 when Gunn and Kaeden answered an open challenge for the CWF Tag Team Championships.  Kaeden and Gunn, a pair of street urchins, got on well with each other inside the ring and out, and the chemistry yielded success.  The Untouchables dispatched of The Force in convincing fashion, and earned themselves a shot at the CWF's revered tag-team champions, The Hard Corps.  In the CWF's year-ending 'Doomsday' PPV event, the Untouchables met the Hard Corps for the first time, and battled to a no contest. The night was not for naught.

In the Main Event Double Ladder Match, Kaeden and Gunn interfered on behalf of the returning former-champion, Asylum.  Asylum would go on to win the match with assistance, and the show concluded with the apparent union of The Untouchables and the 'Greatest Of All Time,' Asylum.  Asylum and wife, Kim Riggs, were inducted into the Untouchables the following week on CWF Ignition.

Over the next several months, the Untouchables infected CWF Television at every level.  Between December's Doomsday and April's Blind Justice the Untouchables faction held every title in the CWF, from unifying the World Championship and Television title, to the Global Championship, Women's World Title and the controversial Exhibition Championship.  At January's Red Dawn PPV, Kaeden and Gunn finally succeeded in unseating the Hard Corps for the CWF Tag Team Titles.

Blind Justice would prove to be pivotal for the Untouchables.  After Asylum dropped the World title to Dane West, Asylum retired due to nagging injuries, taking Kim Riggs with him.  New Global Champion, Dan Kaeden, became the standout singles wrestler in the Untouchables, while Johnny Gunn took to training a new addition, Julian Troy.  The 'New Untouchables' of Kaeden, Johnny and Troy, despite becoming quick fan favorites, never reached the heights of the original incarnation.  In August of 2008, the CWF folded, and the Untouchables parted ways.

RISE Wrestling (RISE)[]

The Untouchables resurfaced months later in RISE wrestling, an organization funded by CWF Alumnus Donald Dursley Titan.  Julian Troy, matured and fine-tuned, bore the moniker, "The Untouchable' Julian Troy' as homage to the group.  Johnny Gunn signed in from the start, and a few weeks later Dan Kaeden joined the organization.  Over several months, RISE teased an Untouchables reunion, an idea that always drew heavy fan support, but the idea never came to fruition.  Troy feuded with Kaeden, once his mentor, and Gunn worked feuds with former WRW stars like Ryan Trent and CWF rival Jason Hernandez

At the time of its closing, plans had been set in motion to finally reunite the Untouchables as a surprise entrant in the 'King of Trios' tournament.

Phoenix Wrestling Enterprise (PWE)[]

Following the demise of RISE, Johnny Gunn went on to have success as part of the main event stable, 'The Revolution' with Azrael Eldritch and Matt Hughes.  Kaeden came in as a mystery opponent for the Elite Championship in the Summer of 2009, and the duo quickly reunited.  Kaeden and Gunn made up the core of PWE's Saints and Sinners stable, a shortlived band of heels set to take down the Empire of Blood.  Plans to have the duo return to tag team action were thwarted, however, when the organization unexpectedly closed do to the departure of key talents.
