Ray and Cyril O'Reilly, born Wicklow, Ireland, began wrestling with the IWF in Nov. 1999 and Feb. 2002 respectivley. Ray O'Reilly, after wrestling in singles competition from Nov. 1999 to Feb. 2002, joined his brother Cyril to form tag team The Brothers Grimm.
Shortly after their formation the two were pushed by booking into singles action until Dec. 2003 when, as the Fighting Irish, The O'Reilly's finally became IWF Tag Team Champions. In Jan. of 2005 the IWF closed it's doors and the O'Reilly's left 3 time Tag Champs.
The two immediately signed contracts with RWA to continue wrestling as the Fighting Irish. During their time with the Revolutionary Wrestling Alliance (From Jan. 2005 till Oct. 2009), aside from singles gold, The Fighting Irish became 4 time Tag Team Champions. They leave RWA, controversialy, in Oct. 2009 as the at the time RWA Tag Team Champions.
Several Weeks later The O'Reillys make an appearance at CWF Season's Beatings and, the following day, are announced as Classic Wrestling Federation's newest Tag Team Talent... dropping the name the Fighting Irish and wrestling under the name the O'Reilly Brothers. In only their second match with the company the O' Bro's became CWF Tag Team Champions.
Early Life[]
Not a lot is known about the early days of the O'Reilly Brothers. Aside from being born in Ireland we know that around the ages of 4 and 6 that Cyril and Ray moved to the United States with their mother. The two spent most of their adolescence living on the streets and it is known that they begun their wrestling career's as a way to make a quick buck.
International Wrestling Federation (1999-2005)[]
The Newbie Years[]
From late 1999 to early 2002 Ray O'Reilly wrestled, under the IWF banner, as a singles star, while brother Cyril spent time buried in wrestling tapes and encyclopedias. After getting his bearing Ray began to burn up the singles division and even became a two time IWF European Champion.
Cyril O'Reilly signs a contract with the IWF[]
Once Cyril joined the roster of the IWF he and brother Ray were quick to form a tag team. Under the name 'The Brothers Grimm' Ray and Cryil only ever got the chance to wrestle one match. In said match Ray O'Reilly broke three metacarpals and two fingers after jumping from the top turnbuckle and planting his opponent through the announce table. After that Cyril was pushed into singles action and, by the time Ray was cleared to return, 6 weeks later, Cyril was IWF European Champion.
Singles Action[]
The O'Reilly's at an IWF House Show
For nearly a year the O'Reilly Brothers competed in singles action. Ray went on, during this time, to add two IWF US Championship runs to his record while Cyril, during this time, lost his European strap, then reclaimed it, to become a two time European Champion.
The Fighting Irish Debut[]
Right when it was starting to look like we might be seeing the O'Reilly Brothers feuding over the IWF United States Championship the two surprised everyone and rejoined forces. This time under the banner the Fighting Irish. The brothers wore lots of green and spoke with a thick accent... even though, naturally, they didn't have one. It wasn't long before the two had the IWF Tag Team Titles around their waists. A long standing feud with the Owtsidr's saw the Fighting Irish loose the staps and win them back twice... making them 3 time IWF Tag Team Champs. Eventually the IWF closed it's doors and the O'Reilly's left still owning the gold.
Revolutionary Wrestling Alliance (2005 - 2009)[]
RWA Debut[]
The O'Reilly Brothers were only sidelined, after IWF's closing, for three weeks before making a debut on RWA Warzone. The two still wrestled under the name 'The Fighting Irish' but no longer sported as much bright green and lost the Irish accents. The fans didn't seem to care. They still loved the O'Reilly's. SeVen, of the Owtsider's, also signed a contract with the RWA after the closing of IWF. It was in the Revolutionary Wrestling Alliance that this feud continued.
Owtsider's feud & Becoming RWA Tag Champs[]
Although SeVen was the only of the two Owtsider's signed to RWA he quickly found himself a partner in Danzig and the two made it known they were after the Fighting Irish. It took two months for this feud to end with a Championship match but, when it finally did, the O'Reilly's, as the Fighting Irish, took the win. Shortly after the win Ray and Cyril gave The New Age Owtsider's, as they were then calling themselves, another shot at the straps. A chance to take them from them. The O'Reilly's, however, couldn't be beat. Once Danzig saw he was on the losing end of this battle he dropped from SeVen's side and left him defenseless. The O'Reilly's destroyed SeVen on a two on one 3 weeks later that put him out of action and, ultimately, caused SeVen to lose his contract with RWA a short time after that.
The O'Reilly's as RWA Tag Champions
With SeVen out of their way Ray and Cyril went on to have 3 more runs at the Tag straps, totaling 4 time champs, and almost never fell from the top of the RWA tag team mountain. Singles straps for Cyril were slim here as he only became a 3 Time RWA Hardcore Champion. Ray, on the other hand, became 1 time RWA Hardcore Champion, 3 time RWA United States Champion and 2 time RWA Intercontinental Champion.
A Bitter End[]
Although the O'Reilly's have been quoted as saying they still recall the RWA with fond memories... they didn't go out with the bang one would have thought. Somewhere along the way, during a long standing feud between the O'Reilly's and RWA Owner Justin Dyse (taking place over nearly 2 years) something between the O' Bro's and Dyse was taken too seriously and things got heated... quick. On the last RWA event the O'Reilly's were billed, as the Fighting Irish, the Brothers smelt something fishy. After having being blackballed from the weekly show since the previous PPV, and considering they faced UNKNOWN at the PPV, in an opening contest, the O'Reilly's just knew a screwjob was in the works. A few hours before the PPV began the O'Reilly's showed up in the a arena parking center and handed out boxes and boxes of RWA Fighting Irish merchandise and, to top it all off, handed out their RWA Tag Team Titles before saying "We'll miss you RWA... but F*** You Justin Dyse!" Then tearing off the Fighting Irish shirts they had on and driving off from the arena.
Classic Wrestling Federation (2009 - present)[]
CWF Debut[]
The O'Reilly's backstage at Seasons Beatings.
The first time the O'Reilly's are heard from or seen, since driving away from the RWA and their tag team titles, was at CWF's December '09 PPV, Seasons Beatings. CWF Reporter in training, Mike Heftle, bumped into the boys backstage and asked if they were signing contracts with the CWF. The O'Reilly's were tight lipped. Shortly after Seasons Beatings aired it was announced that Ray and Cyril were indeed signing with the Classic Wrestling Federation.
Fresh start, First Official contest is a #1 Contenders[]
No longer were the O'Reilly's wrestling as the Fighting Irish. For the first time since their very first tag match they wrestled under a different name. Now... it was simply the O'Reilly Brothers. The two had long since stopped wearing the green and speaking with a forced accent. No longer did they try to live up to the stereotypical Irish persona. The O'Reilly's had finally made it... they had finally become a part of the fed they'd always wanted to. They didn't need any gimmics anymore.
Apparently CWF Owner Mark Xamin knew how talented the O'Reilly's were from their time in IWF and RWA because in their first match with the company they faced Da Xtreme Dynasty and The Richards Legion in a triple threat tag match for number one contendership of the CWF Tag Team Titles. It was a crazy match for the O' Bro's to jump into, considering Da Dynasty and Richards past, but through the mayhem the O'Reilly Brothers won after Ray hit AJ Styles with a devastating Dublin Drop and then the pin.
Last Man Standing / Match number 2[]
In just their second match with the company Ray and Cyril took on Vincent and Donovan Torigianni in a bout for the Tag Team Titles at CWF's Last Man Standing '10. Before that match could even start Donovan Torigianni was arrested, right at ringside, for suspected murder. Donovan's brother, Vincent, was left out to dry. The senior ref decided the match would continue and Vincent would have to compete 1 on 2. Otherwise he would relinquish his Tag Team Straps to the O' Bro's. Vincent fought but, no matter what he tried, one man just couldn't down the O'Reilly's. Eventually the O' Bro's wore Vince down and took the win... becoming CWF Tag Team Champions in just their second bout with the company.
Dealing with the Win[]
Normally one wouldn't have to deal with a win but both Ray and Cyril took it hard that they became Tag Team Champions in a two on one. Small arguments arose between the O' Bro's, and Suzanne, Ray's girlfriend, as a result of this. Ray, at first, tried all he could to deny it bothered him. Even going as far as assaulting two bikers in Billings Montana and starting a fight in Oklahoma City with 3 bouncers at a club called the 'xxx-Tasty'. At Showdown, after a match where Cyril defeated Jeffery Bogart of the Double Dragons, Ray O'Reilly came down to ringside and assaulted Jeff post match. He then proceeded to force Cyril to hold Jeff while Ray smashed his face in with his Tag Team title. When Johnny Lee came out to help his partner Ray lashed out at him too. He then forced Cyril to deliver a similar devastating blow to Johnny with HIS tag team strap. All to prove a point... a point Ray thought needed to be delivered considering the way they won the tag team titles.
Already having to clean up their Act?[]
Things started to snowball a little for Ray after the win so, before things got out of control, he decided to clean up his act. He and Cyril made amends and it even seems like Ray might still have a chance with long time girlfriend, and O'Reilly Brother manager, Suzanne.
Moving On[]
Ray was able to win back Suzanne Winters, for the time being, and he and Cyril began training again to REMAIN the toughest Tag Team in the CWF.

Entrance Description[]
The arena goes dark and the crowed goes quiet with anticipation. In a split second the entire place explodes with flashes of light and loud music as fireworks fire up and down the entryway and "To Boston" by Dropkick Murphy's blares over the PA system. As the fireworks die down Ray and Cyril O'Reilly appear at the top of the entryway. The brothers, dressed in jeans and T-shirts with the logo OB's on the front, enter the stadium as cocky as ever. Suzanne suddenly appears behind Ray and drapes her arm over his shoulder as she waves to the fans. Cyril follows closely behind his older brother Ray and Suzanne as the pair saunter to ringside.
Ring Announcer : Making their way to the ring at this time, being accompanied by the beautiful Suzanne, at a combined weight of 420 pounds, The O'Reilly brothers, Ray and Cyril O'Reilly!
A mixed reaction from the crowd. Ray runs and slides into the ring under the bottom rope and proceeds hype the crowd. Throwing his hands in the air he praises some fans and insults others. Suzanne, after blowing a kiss to Ray, makes her way to a chair set up near the ring bell. Cyril finally makes his way into the ring via the stairs and the two brothers meet center ring with a hand slap and half hug.
