The Movement was a professional wrestling tag team and stable, led mainly by Damian DeNiro. The stable is most known for their time in the GameFAQs Wrestling Federation, where they held the GWF World Tag Team Championship on two occasions.
When the stable merged with The Reprobate's stable to become a super-group, they carried all members of The Movement and Rep's Posse. They would then be officially recognized as the largest and most powerful group in GWF history.
History[]
GameFAQs Wrestling Federation (2008-2009)[]
Formation[]

The original incarnation of the tag team, consisting of Damian DeNiro and XO Malone.
During a six-man tag team match on the June 6th, 2008 episode of FNB, Damian DeNiro and XO Malone (booked on opposite sides) refused to fight each other. The two continued to avoid contact until XO hit his own partner, Debolt Dragonsbane, with a backbreaker, and then allowed DeNiro to finish him off with the Ode 2 Queensbridge. The pin was counted as XO grabbed two chairs and threw them in the ring, handing one to DeNiro. DeNiro whacked Michael Smart in the back of the head, and XO proceeded to do the same to Dragonsbane. After the assault, the two revealed that they were joining forces.
World Tag Team Championship[]
DeNiro and XO Malone christened themselves The Movement, and immediately became embroiled in a short rivalry with Kevin McAullife and Shelton Splash, who were the acting World Tag Team Champions. Fed up with the World Tag Team Championships not being defended, The Movement decided that it was necessary to take the belts away from the inactive tag team. On the special 4th of July episode of FNB, The Movement captured the Championship, defeating Splash and McAuliffe, and in the process, crowned DeNiro a double champion. On the night of the title win, DeNiro retired Splash by injuring his leg.
Growth and alliance with Rep's Posse[]

Damian shortly after betraying his tag partner XO.
Shortly after winning the belts, The Movement saw an increase in numbers, as young up and comer Stan Vishis was recruited to join the group as a ringside scout. Vishis abandoned his tag team partner, Baron Trotter, to join the group, leaving the up and coming Druggiez tag team.
The World Tag Team title reign was short lived for XO however, as just one month later, on the August 8th edition of FNB, DeNiro and XO were set to defend the titles against a jobber tag team of Thine Eyes and R-Smith. After defending the belts in one of the shortest matches in GWF history, DeNiro suddenly turned on his own partner XO, and beat him down with his finisher. DeNiro then pinned XO and proclaimed that he had just won the rights to both titles, and would choose a partner to take the second belt. Surprisingly, he chose his rival The Reprobate, a man who he had just been pinned by days before, to take XO's spot in the group and hold the second championship. Not feeling that Stan Vishis was mature or accomplished enough to carry the title, DeNiro had created the first super-group in history to hold the World Tag Team Championship and two singles belts at the same time. After a month of wreaking havoc, GWF would cease operation shortly thereafter.
Return to GWF (2009)[]
When the GWF reunion tour was announced, DeNiro choose to participate only on the first Sunday Brunch reunion date, the Sunday Brunch Anniversary Show, where he was to defend his World Tag Team Championship with The Reprobate against Baron Trotter and the newly turned Stan Vishis, as well as wrestle a second match against a mystery opponent. The champions defended the belts, but were then subsequently stripped of them when it was announced that DeNiro had refused to defend them at any further events. The Reprobate then turned on DeNiro because of his greed, and physically assaulted him in the ring long enough to the point where XO could reveal himself as DeNiro's surprise opponent. XO entered the ring and finally got his pinfall revenge. A few weeks later, Stan Vishis pinned his former Movement peer XO at Never Before Seen, the final GWF event.
