Stable Information
Faction Name The Machine
Founding Members Danny Vice
Johnny Reb
Spike Kane

The Machine was a stable in the Global Wrestling Coalition.

Founding[]

The Machine was officially founded on the July 16, 2008 episode of Wednesday Night Assault. Just one week before GWC Viva La GWC in the Main Event that pitted Danny Vice and his "hired gun" Johnny Reb against the Kane Brothers, Reckless JackBrad and Spike. If Brad and Spike were victorious, Brad would earn a future GWC World Championship shot. A title he felt he was cheated out of during the GWC World Championship Challenge. During the match, Spike turned on Brad, and allowed Danny Vice to pin him for the victory. After the match, Vice would cut a scathing promo about both Brad Kane, and the fans of the GWC, whom he felt had turned on him by cheering those who had opposed him throughout the history of the GWC.

I am the ALPHA and the OMEGA. I am your Lord, your Savior, and the Creator of all things good. You are my citizens. This Coalition is my Oz. I am the Man Behind the Curtain. And there is nothing, ANY of you can do about it. You say you want to rise up and fight The Man? You say you want to rage against the machine? Well I am THE MAN, and this is MY MACHINE!

The following week, at Viva La GWC, Jamal Carter would introduce himself as the Director of Public Relations for the group and interfere on behalf of Johnny Reb during his match with Brad over the GWC Underground Championship. The entire stable would leave Brad a bloody mess, with the stress forcing Brad's wife, Megan, into early labor. Over the next few weeks, The Machine would induct current World Champion Derek Sitar and his girlfriend, Sammie Rene, into the group, as well as the Asinine Assasin, Random McRally. The newly formed stable was scheduled to face Brad Kane, Zak Warner, DeAngelo Williams, and James Casey in an Eight Man War at GWC Tribulation and lost.

Danny Vice went missing in action for some time. This was followed by the departures from the GWC of Jamal Carter, Derek Sitar, Sammie Rene, and Spike Kane. Random McRally and Johnny Reb remained loosely aligned.
