Joshua Terrence Gilmore (born April 27, 1991) is an Irish professional wrestler and professional video game player most commonly known, in wrestling, under the ring name TK O'Haire and, in gaming, under the gamertag BreadBaker, commonly shorted to BreBak. As a professional gamer, he competes in Super Smash Bros. Melee, Dead or Alive, and is a record-breaking champion in Tekken, of which he has won more tournaments than any other active player. In the series, he is wildly considered to be the game's greatest player of all time. Since May 2013, he has been sponsored by the professional Esports organization FlyHigh Gaming.

He is mostly known as a professional wrestler, as the leader of the CRT FC stable featuring Zaire Madden, xxx and yyy, and is the current zzz aaa Champion in his first reign. He has appeared in a number of independent promotions around the world, most notably Fair Fight Pro, Worth The Risk Wrestling (WTR), where he is a former one-time WTR World Champion, and Celtic Classic Wrestling, where he is a former one-time CCW Unified Tag Team Champion with Zaire Madden.

Early life[]

Gilmore is from Granard, County Longford. He was educated at Trinity College Dublin, graduating with a B.A.

Beginning when he was 14 years old, Gilmore was trained to be a professional wrestler by Lightning Kid II (also known as Paul Grace) and "Breakface" Bill Brookes. At the age of 21, Gilmore spent six months wrestling in Japan.

Independent circuit (2009-present)[]

Gilmore started wrestling with Irish Wrestling Alliance, where he wrestled under the "Ted O'Lowry" name, before going to Evolve: Next Generation of Wrestling and other Irish indie promotions.

Super Smash Bros.[]

Gilmore started playing Super Smash Bros. in 2002, when he was introduced to the series through his older brother. He initially started as a Link player before switching to Fox, remaining his main character for the rest of his time with the series.

Smash

In 2009, Gilmore placed 3rd at BIRTH 1, his first high placement at a major Melee tournament. He won his first tournament at Back to the Basics: Melee 2 later that year. Gilmore continued to make deep runs in tournaments often finishing 2nd to 5th. In 2014, he placed top three in nine Melee tournaments, including a victory at Fight Club III and runner up at EVO 2014. Throughout 2014 Gilmore began placing highly in tournaments and defeating the top five Melee players regularly. Prior to EVO 2014, Joe Cribari of Nintendo Enthusiast listed Gilmore among the three "underdogs" with the greatest chance to win the tournament. In 2017, Gilmore won his first national victory in the series at The International after handily defeating Luka "MILKWAVE" Sharpe in grand finals. Gilmore continued to play Melee while also taking some time to participate in Smash 4, eventually becoming a long-running top player.

Gilmore was a surprise guest at the 2018 Super Smash Bros Ultimate Invitational at E3 2018. Gilmore expressed his disappointment in not being one of the featured players to be invited to compete in the invitational, despite being a top player in Smash 4 at the time. He made a surprise appearance at the invitational, when he was challenged to play against Arnold Balmont, Lizzy Webb, and Del Grafton, playing in a 3v1 with team attack off. Gilmore played as Snake, and beat the 3 celebrities, despite being on a team by himself.

Dead or Alive[]

In 2010, he won the second place in Ireland's vice-champion in Dead or Alive 2. Since then, he's taken part in numerous small-time tournaments around the country, winning most. His interest in the series is casual compared to his other endeavors, according to Gilmore himself.

Tekken[]

As a child, Gilmore developed a reputation in the Irish Tekken by setting a 286-win straight streak record in various arcades in both Ireland and Scotland, becoming something of a local legend. Gilmore put more time and effort into practicing whenever he could play as it was, and still is, his favorite fighting game series.

By 2006, Gilmore had firmly established himself as the strongest player in Europe and gained national recognition in Tekken 5 at Grand Plaza 2006, defeating top players such as Naitendo, before losing to Akizone in Winners' Finals and Naitendo in Losers' Finals, finishing 3rd out of 400 entrants. This was Gilmore's first trip to the U.S. and his first overseas tournament. He won his first national Tekken tournament at STARS IV, defeating Alamb in winners' and grand finals.

Later that same year, Gilmore participated in Namco's official Tekken 5 national tournament and advanced to the finals which took place on a stage in Tokyo Game Show 2006: Autumn on October 11. He was the only foreign player allowed to take part in the event. After winning the tournament by defeating Ōnuki 3-1, Gilmore, as the champion, went on to face Ivan Clarke, the winner of the U.S. national Tekken 5 tournament. The international "Grand Championship" was held in San Francisco, California on November 8. The match was best of three games, with five-round games. Gilmore came from behind to win 2-1.

Since then, Gilmore has gone onto win nearly every major Tekken tournament he has taken part in, becoming known within the community as the "God of Tekken". Gilmore's success with the series has led to him becoming something of a staple within the series as well, having made an appearance in Tekken 8 in a fair share of cutscenes. There were plans to potentially base a character off of him but Gilmore rejected the idea, avoiding having to give up the series due to working closely with Namco.

Personal life[]

Gilmore was born in Ireland on April 27, 1991. He has two older brothers, one born in 1989, and the other born in 1985. He credits his earnings from playing Tekken & Super Smash Bros for financing him after college.

Starting from May 2009 he lived in Los Angeles, California with fellow professional video game player/professional wrestler Zaire Madden, the duo sharing a home with several other professional gamers. In early 2015, Gilmore and Madden moved to Phoenix, Arizona. In summer 2015, the pair moved to New Jersey where they current reside with video game personality Gina "DoublePing" Vladu, who Madden is currently dating. Gilmore regularly streams on twitch.tv and often attends tournaments when he's not wrestling.

On August 15, 2017, Gilmore became a U.S. citizen.
