Sweet Anarchy are a professional wrestling tag team consisting of Kelsey Spencer and Annabel Lee. They are best known for their time in Pure Amusement Wrestling, although they didn't receive an official name until after the promotion folded.
The team is on indefinite hiatus as of March 2017.
History[]
Pre-Anarchy (PAW, 2016)[]
Spencer and Lee made their debut as a tag team at the PAW Wicked DVD Taping #15, where they took on the team of Adam Wolfe and Mikael. The pair were victorious, and went on to face Johnny Raike and Strick Plissken for a chance to qualify for the Tag Team Turmoil Match to determine the inaugural PAW Tag Team Champions at PAW Bad Moon Rising (2016). The team were unsuccessful in qualifying when Spencer was pinned by Raike following a Powerbomb from Plissken.
Lee and Spencer faced Anastasia Hayden and Caroline O'Hara Burchill at Bad Moon Rising, with the members of the winning team moving on to a Fatal 4-Way main event match on the inaugural episode of PAW Addiction. They were victorious in the match when Lee pinned Burchill following the AnnTrack.
IYHWF (2016-present)[]
Kelsey Spencer and Annabel Lee debuted in IYHWF as Sweet Anarchy on the Ruckus #16 on October 30, 2016. The pair were originally scheduled to take on Misha LeCavalier and .PAAK - collectively known as Murphy's Law - however, the two refused to wrestle the match. Instead, they faced their replacements; Dave Francis and Terry Nelson - Modern Day Heroes. Sweet Anarchy won when Lee pinned Nelson following the team's Scatterbrained finisher.
Lee and Spencer suffered their first loss in the company the following week, where they were defeated by S&V.
Cracks quickly began to show in the team under the stresses of being together 24/7 and wrestling in a new environment. Spencer was becoming frustrated and irritable, pushing Lee to work at an unfathomable rate. Unknown to the public - and Lee, at the time - Spencer had slipped back into depression and was fighting many personal battles in private. When Spencer's unfair treatment of Lee became public knowledge, fans speculated that the team would be breaking up. Despite their differences though, Spencer assured Lee that she would always have her back in the ring. Spencer stayed true to her word in their match later that night, even though she tagged herself in to deliver the final move and pick up the pinfall against Gold Blood.
Sweet Anarchy stunned the IYHWF fans when they managed to defeat the IYH Tag Team Champions, Snarktastic, in a non-title match - despite not being on the same page. Spencer and Lee would patch things up between themselves soon afterwards, ahead of their match with Murphy's Law at Wrath of the Gods. Sweet Anarchy were defeated at the event when Spencer was pinned by .PAAK following their Selectional Bias move.
Lee and Spencer defeated Connie Craven and IYH Proving Grounds Champion Iris Black in a tag team match on the following Ruckus, and defeated Murphy's Law in a rematch one week later by disqualification when Misha LeCavalier refused to break an illegal hold on Spencer's arm. Following Murphy's Law's suspension, Sweet Anarchy's scheduled match against Snarktastic the following week was changed to a #1 Contender's contest; Sweet Anarchy won the match following Scatterbrained, and moved on to challenge State of Anarchy for the IYH Tag Team Championship at Unearthed. The team failed to win the titles at the event when Kelsey was pinned following the Pandemonium finisher combination.
