Super Clash I is the first Super Clash professional wrestling event produced by Premium Championship Wrestling. It took place on April 2, 2011 at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas. The event produced nine professional wrestling matches, and it was proved to be a critical and commercial success. Cited by fans as an event that gave you everything you ever wanted.

Background[]

The main feud heading into Super Clash was between The Elite against Leon Lonewolf, SJ Funk and Mariano Fernandez. SJ Funk was included in this rivalry after he won the Struggle for Power Battlefield to win a shot against Yoshiru Long when he eliminated James Baker after interference from the Saint's Army. The aftermatch of that event included Yoshiru, Paul Blair and Sickboy forming The Elite at the expense of Funk, Mariano and Leon. However, the week after Blackout, Funk pulled out of his match against Yoshiru due to personal reason. A week later on the March 19th edition of Rapture, it was announced after the main event that Nightrain would be the new number one contender, Saint choosing him over James Baker, who was the runner up to Funk in the Struggle for Power Battlefield.

The secondary feud heading into Super Clash is between Heather Monroe and Danielle Lopez. These two matched up at Struggle for Power II where Danielle won by disqualification after Nightrain interfered as he knocked Danielle off the top rope before beating on both of them until Da Xtreme Dynasty made the save. On the March 12th edition of Saturday Night Rapture, Danielle came out after Heather lost to Sickboy and made a challenge. Heather had some mixture of her own and made it a cage match where Danielle accepted and shook Heather's hand in the process. On the March 26th edition of Rapture, Monroe turned Heel and aligned herself with Michael Morrison to beat down Israel Steele, but Danielle eventually made the save. Danielle announced that she was cashing in her free Broadcast Championship match that she won back in YCW, and effectively made the match for the PCW Broadcast Championship

The third feud heading into Super Clash is between Israel Steele and Michael Morrison. At Blackout, Morrison defeated Steele to win the PCW Platinum Championship with help from Steele's brother, Paul Blair. Ever since then, Steele has been on a rampage of destruction and paranoia. On the final edition of Rapture before the Clash, Morrison made the challenge to Steele to face him one more time with the Platinum title on the line. Steele accepted and made it a Last Man Standing match where there can only be one winner.

Event[]

The first match of the event featured the seventh installement of the Scars of Wrestling Cup. The cup's founder Leo Hawkins came out and announced that he was to be the special referee like old times and made it under Last Man Standing rules. In the end, Ryan Welfare claimed victory when both Disturbed and The Half Breed fell off the shopping cart and through the table.

The second match of the event was Bear McKinley and former CWF star Seamus O'Reilly as The Celtic Connection, two protege's of PCW wrestler SJ Funk had a tryout match against Blaq Death. This match was nothing more than a squash match as The Celtic Connection dominated Blaq Death and put away the match when McKinley pinned Jose Blaq following The Caber Toss.

The third match was more competitive as Damon Warrens (formerly Damon Wilson) defended his PCW Brawl Championship against The Demolition Man in a Ladder match. The two men gave it everything they had and introduced all kinds of weapons into the contest, but after powerbombing Damon off the ladder and through the table, The Demolition Man climbed the ladder and grabbed the Brawl Championship to become the new champion.

The fourth match was the PCW World Tag Team Championship match between Generation Next's Aaron and Nathan Warrens, Orlando Cruz and The Enforcer of the Saint's Army and The O'Reilly Brothers. Originally Johnny Triton and Jackie Turner were supposed to compete, but Suzanne Winters and the O'Bros prevented that from happening. Crunk N' Cyde was supposed to compete too, but Shannon Saint removed them from the match. In the end, the Warrens' brothers proved to be victorious and retained the titles. After the match, Leon Lonewolf and his friend and then-PCW Talent Scout Tyler Brownlee came out and challenged The Warrens for the titles in a future date as a birthday present for Nathan.

The fifth match features Sickboy against Draven Logan Kennedy. DLK recently turned into a Face character after a change of heart and realizing that he had done wrong. The match was a brutal one, both competitors taking each other to limits that no person should ever go to, even going outside of the arena. In the end, Sickboy gained the victory with The Downward Spiral.

The sixth match was a Steel Cage Match between Heather Monroe and Danielle Lopez for the PCW Broadcast Championship. The match contained many dangerous spots, including Hurricanrana's off the top of the cage by both competitors, a Seated Senton from on top and a Corkscrew 450 Splash among other high impact moves. At various points in the match, both women battled on top of the cage. Towards the end, Heather tried another Hurricanrana from the top, but Danielle held on and Heather fell down in the middle of the ring. Danielle proceeded to climb out of the cage and win the Broadcast Championship. After the match, Michael Morrison came out and attacked Danielle, with Heather eventually joining. Soon after, Danielle's husband James Baker came down and blasted Morrison with the chair, making the save for his wife.

The seventh match was for the PCW Platinum Championship as Michael Morrison defended the title against Israel Steele. This one produced many near falls and Steele was close to retaining multiple times throughout, but Morrison proved victorious after hitting Steele with the title belt and following up with two Thunderstruck's to the face. After the match, Yoshiru Long, Sickboy and Paul Blair joined Morrison in attacking Steele, but it was short-lived as Leon Lonewolf and the Hellacious World Order made their returns and attacked the Elite. The hWo attacked Morrison and shoved him in the ring.

The eight match was an impromptu one as Lonewolf cashed in his free title match for the Platinum title. It wasn't a long match and Leon won the championship, but Morrison's foot was on the bottom rope. Immediately after winning, The Saint's Army attacked Leon and annihilated him until the hWo came back out and chased after them. After wards, Shannon Saint got up and stripped Lonewolf of the title and awarded it to Morrison, giving the title back to the man who started the night as the champion.

The final match of the night was the PCW World Heavyweight Championship match between Yoshiru Long and Nightrain. During the match, the two put on a back and forth contest, and at multiple time, Nightrain was inches away from gaining the victory, but in the end, Yoshiru countered Nightrain's attempt at a Lariat and hit Train with the Hellbringer to claim victory and retain the championship. The show ended with Yoshiru celebrating his win while the fans booed him.
