Mr. Awesome (in 2011 during his stint as PUW General Manager)

Steve Awesome (born September 2, 1980) is a Scottish professional wrestler currently wrestling on the Bebo Wrestling Network, currently signed to World Turmoil Federation, where he is the current UWW World Heavyweight Champion. He is best known for his time in FEW, WBW, PCW, UWW & UBW under a multitude of different gimmicks and for being the founder and owner of World Frontier Wrestling.

In November 2012, Steve Awesome was inducted into the Bebo Wrestling Hall Of Fame.

Professional Wrestling Career[]

Early Career (2006)

The career of Steve Awesome started on the evening of Halloween 2006 when he was contacted by GM Rock & The E-Train to compete for their promotion Total Teenage Wrestling. He immediately signed a contract and began competing under the name of 'The Pro' Steve-o.

On November 7, 2006, 'The Pro' Steve-o made his in-ring debut in a six-pack challenge for Lee Jeffrey's TTW Bebo Championship. Despite putting up a valiant effort, Steve-o fell short with the match seeing Jason Ryan leaving victorious and with the gold. However, management were impressed by his performance and granted him a rematch for the title on the following edition of Saturday Slam. On November 11, 'The Pro' faced off against Jason Ryan and The Wrestling Freak and once again produced a stellar performance, unfortunately he failed in claiming the TTW Bebo Title.

Following the loss, 'The Pro' Steve-o began to emulate his idol, the then reigning TTW Online Wrestling Heavyweight Champion Chris Havok. He began dressing like him and even changed his name to Steve Chaos. After yet another loss this time to Jordan Killa on the November 18th edition of Saturday Slam, Chaos redeemed himself by aligning himself with Chris Havok at the 'A Glimpse of Chaos' pay-per-view, by interfering in his title defense and assisting Havok in successfully defending his championship against Dinan. Shortly after the PPV, Total Teenage Wrestling went on a hiatus.

After the closure of TTW, Championship Deathlock Wrestling & Frontline European Wrestling came knocking on Chaos' door, but both contracts fell through and Steve Chaos' career was seemingly over before it had even really had the chance to begin.

The Return & FEW (2007)[]

As Steve Awesome appeared in the FEW video game in 2007.

In late January 2007 Steve Chaos signed a contract with Frontline Euro Wrestling under the name Steve Awesome, a name that he has become synonymous with during his entire career. His return match occurred on the January 31st edition of Wednesday Night Beatdown with a victory over Taboo, the match saw the debut of the 'Awesome Bomb' which in turn injured Taboo causing him to miss several weeks of in-ring action.

On February 11, Steve Awesome made his FEW pay-per-view debut at Survivor in Hell in a 10-minute Ironman match against Hitman From Hell. After a very competitive match-up, neither man were able to outdo the other resulting in a draw. That evening saw a mutual respect between the two competitors, both men shaking hands after the match thus starting their friendship. Later on that very same night Steve Awesome had his first crack at the FEW World Heavyweight Title in an over-the-top battle royal match which saw the entire roster vying for the vacant title. However, Awesome did not fare well in the match and in the end it was his good friend Kill Crazy that walked away as the first-ever FEW Heavyweight Champion of the World.

The following week, on the February 13th edition of Beatdown Steve Awesome teamed with Hitman to defeat Dangerous Luke & Scorpion to win the FEW World Tag Team Championships. The title marked Steve Awesome's first of many championship victories.

Over the weeks that followed tensions built between the two men and on February 27, the team of Steve Awesome & Hitman From Hell came to an end when they dropped the Tag Team Titles to 'The Hoodlem Boyz' Ricky Flame & Overkill in a triple-threat which also featured the team 'Down to Earth'. After the loss both men blamed one another, due to the turmoil between the former champs Freddie Boston booked the both of them against one another at the biggest event of the year 'Euromania I'.

On March 9, just days before Euromania, both Steve Awesome & Hitman From Hell were drafted to the new Livewire brand (Named after the weekly brand of Steve Awesome's first short-lived promotion Extreme World Wrestling).

At the first ever Euromania pay-per-view on March 11, Keegan Morrison the man formerly known as Hitman From Hell defeated Steve Awesome to become the inaugural FEW United States Champion. The loss left Awesome distraught and with a chip in his shoulder, in a post-match interview The Awesome One promised that there would be a change.

Two days later on Beatdown, Steve Awesome now 'changed' as Steve Chaos once again, faced off against his good friend Kill Crazy in a non-title match and defeated the World Champion, putting everyone on notice that he was capable of playing with the big dogs and was bound for the FEW World Title.

On March 15, on the first edition of Thursday Night Livewire, Steve Chaos cashed in his rematch clause and destroyed Kegan Morrison to become the second FEW United States Champion in history. He was booked to defend his championship on the March 22nd edition of Livewire against Antichrist, however, for unknown circumstances FEW went into liquidation.

After The Closure of FEW, Freddie Boston started up another promotion in WIW, on the first ever show Steve Awesome became the first ever WIW Sky High Champion, however, WIW closed immediately after the show went off the air.

Several weeks later, Freddie Boston tried again with another promotion called EOW. Once again, Steve started off strong by defeating Dean Masters to become the first ever EOW Golden Champion. The next week, himself and Dean went on to claim the EOW World Tag Team Titles. But once again, just as Awesome was building up momentum it was derailed by the failure of Freddie Boston.

After both of Boston's new promotion failed to take off, he decided to bring back Frontline Euro Wrestling.

On June 10, Steve Awesome managed to retain his Golden Championship against Steve Swain & Bean at FEW's 'Dead End' pay-per-view event by pinning Swain following the Awesome Bomb. This series of events was the catalyst for the feud between the two men which was named 'The Battle of the Steve's'.

After weeks of feuding, it all came ahead at 'Victory Day' on July 1, when Steve Awesome successfully defended his FEW Golden Title against Steve Swain in a Tables, Ladders & Chairs match that saw Awesome hit his infamous Awesome Bomb for the victory. This was seemingly the end of their rivalry, however, Steve Swain was the one that got the last laugh!

On the homecoming edition of Beatdown on July 4, 2007 Steve Awesome competed in the first ever Hardcore Hotel match-up, despite putting up an impressive effort by eliminating both Jason Ryan & Captain Freedom from the match, he was suddenly eliminated by rival Steve Swain. In the end it was Dean Masters who walked away victorious and with the FEW Beatdown Championship.

In early August, with the return of FEW saw the return of Johnny Whiplash. In his first match back he defeated Enigmatic Soul in less than three minutes after sending him through a table to claim the FEW European Championship. After several more wins, FEW once again decided to close it's doors, but not for long...

Once again, FEW made its return to the Bebo Wrestling Network with its 'One Year On' event on October 2, 2007. At the event, Steve Awesome now called Johnny Whiplash defeated The Rebel inside the confines of a

steel cage to claim his first FEW Hardcore Title.

For a month, Awesome successfully defended his Hardcore Title and put waste to all comers. During that time he transformed into 'The Star' Steve Adams and becoming a cocky Hollywood type character. After breaking the record for the longest FEW Hardcore Title reign, Adams set his sights on the World Title.

At the last ever FEW event in history, 'Sunday Night Click' on November 4, 2007. Steve Adams faced against the FEW World Heavyweight Champion Captain Freedom & Levi Spyker for the title. However, after giving it his all, it was his good friend Spyker who would dethrone Freedom and raise the coveted World Title. The loss left Adams destroyed and has always haunted him. Steve Awesome to this day still claims his biggest regret in the game is never being able to clinch the big one.
