Shannon Cunningham is an American professional wrestler currently signed to Online Wrestling Alliance.

Professional wrestling[]

Debut in STW[]

Cunningham made his professional wrestling debut in Small Time Wrestling in February 2012. As a babyface, he became the target of many heel wrestlers in the promotion, especially Public Adversary. Cunningham enlisted the help of Orlando Flowers, a relative newcomer who was in the same situation as Cunningham. The two were defeated by Public Adversary, and as a result, Flowers betrayed Cunningham and administered a post-match beatdown to his former tag team partner.

Feud with Orlando Flowers, rise to main event status[]

Having blamed Cunningham for his shortcomings, Flowers turned heel and the two feuded for several months before Cunningham won the climactic match between them. It wasn't long before Cunningham became the #1 Contender for the STW Championship, a status which a former STW Champion Grady Drake took exception to. Drake saw Cunningham as a joke of a wrestler, someone who could never be taken seriously.

Both Cunningham and Drake were granted a title shot, and faced champion Victor Huntley for the gold in a Triple Threat Match. Cunningham scored the victory, becoming STW Champion for the first and only time in his career. Following this victory, Cunningham defended the title against the likes of Grady Drake, Orlando Flowers and Spanko Blanco before finally dropping the title to Moses Webster. He failed to regain the championship in his subsequent rematch.

Cunningham would wrestle sporadically for STW from December 2013 up until the company's closure in early March 2014.
