Biography[]
Early Life and Training[]
Born into a wrestling family, from a young age, Shane Tallin was dictated the craft. He watched events from the point where he was able to properly perceive the events, and began training at a younger age then most would even imagine. Of course, even though he began to train at the young age of 15, he ended up cutting off the ties to the sport after a very tragic occurrence.
His remaining parent, father Marcus Tallin, who had been an established wrestler on the Canadian indie circuit for years, was killed in a drunken car acciedent while retunring from a show in northern Ontario. This caused the young Shane to go into a state of shock and completely neglect his training. He instead moved to the countries capital with his uncle. Who was his only remaining family. Though this wasn't the best thing for him, he had no other choice.
He integrated into his new life poorly. Became an outcast in highschool from day one, making him a very quiet and seemingly self-centered individual. He drifted like this all the way to grade twelve, which is where it all came to a screeching halt. Shane would move on to be thrown from the school system after being goaded into a very physical fight. His father and family had been insulted, which is what sent Shane into the state first, he blacked out and discovered he had fractured shoulder and arm of the young man he had gotten into the fight with.
Not having anything else to turn to, Shane began to work a minimum paying job, just so his uncle wouldn't cast him out onto the street. This was soon coupled with a court order of probation and to see a psychiatrist to discover just what had made him snap so easily and black out.
These meetings soon discovered a problem for Shane that was most disturbing. Shane suffered from a very advanced form of schitzophrenia. One that implanted a personality in his head that was overly aggressive. This was blamed souly on the loss of both his parents and the problems that he had to bear with his home life and his very shallow and under the radar styled existence of life. He was told simply to take some sort of medication, and told to find an outlet. One that wouldallow him to get out his aggression and frusteraytions on a regular basis.
It didn't take long so Shane to figure out the outlet he needed. He returned to training a few short weeks after his seventeenth birthday, rocketing through the training at an astonishing rate, until he was moved the to indie leagues. He rocketed through these even quicker before being signed to a bigger label.
UnderGround Wrestling League[]
Marking the biggest success of his career, the UGWL was his first promotion. It was also the first promotion Shane ever won a singles title in. His debut in the UGWL was against another young performer named Erik Damos, he came out with a victory after hitting Damos with his then finishing move, the Falcon Wing. After that he moved on to compete in the companies Lightweight division, and skyrocketed quickly.
His first pay-per-view for the promotion, UGWL Highway to Hell, was his first shining success. He battled UGWL Lightweight Champion Jacob Micheals and won, pinning the man at the five minute mark. He would go down as one of the most successful Lighweight Champions of all time, holding the title as he also won the UGWL World Title at the end of the year at UGWL's flagship ppv, UGWL Legacy. After this point, everything only went up hill. Tallin held the UGWL title for near a year before loseing it in a submissions match to Alexander Kage at UGWL Ascension.
After his loss of the World Title, Shane fixed his attention on something else within the company. Nikki Tallin, a young woman working as a valet for then boyfriend, Marcus Draiman, a former World Champion for the company. Without a request or even a hint to his interest, Shane began a vendetta against Draiman for his on screen treatment of Nicole at that time. Eventually Shane woould pin Draiman on three separate occasions before actually speaking to Nicole, ths beginning the relationship that extends to this day.
After beginning his courtship of Nicole, Shane's eyes refixed on the UGWL World Title. Much to his chagrin, instead of being put on a collision course with Alexander Kage, Shane was instead fixed in the UGWLs tier two division, which was focused on the International Championship. Quickly making waves, Shane won four straight contests, before being thrown into a number one contenders bout versus Marcus Draiman. Again he won the showdown and earned himself a title match against then International Champion, Harbinger at UGWL Hell Games. After starting a feaud against the overly aggressive champion, the match and Hell Games was deemed a no hold barred contest, marking Shane's first true hardcore style bout. After being dropped through two stacked tables on the outside of the ring, Shane still managed to lock in his debuting End of Days submission lock to win the contest.
A few months after winning the UGWL International title, Shane went on toe propose and marry girlfriend Nicole Talleran, all within the same week. After returning from his honey moon with the now dubbed Nikki Tallin, Shane instantly put Alexander Kage on notice after coming out after a Kage title defense and making an unsanctioned challenge. Title versus Title at the very ppv Shane had won his first title, Legacy. Before this Shane and Kage would battle through most of the year Starting at the companies winter ppv UGWL Fury in the Storm and working their way until what many have deemed the greatest match in the promotions history.
