Shane Holliday (real name Shane McCormack, Jr.) is a professional wrestler who currently competes for ALPHA Wrestling, Nike Pro Combat, and VANGUARD Pro. Shane was the inaugural ALPHA Grand Champion and Nike Pro World Champion. In the past, he has also worked for DYSTOPIA/SANITORIUM Wrestling, Limitless Wrestling, Strong Style Wrestling, and Royalty Wrestling League.

Professional Wrestling Career[]

RIOT! Pro Wrestling (January 2019 - April 2019)[]

In January of 2019, Shane Holliday became one of the first wrestlers to sign for ALPHA Wrestling's developmental territory, RIOT! Pro. At the company's first major event, he won the Grand Championship.

Originally, the company was called 'Black Sabbath Wrestling', however it was rebranded shortly after the event he won it at, Black Sabbath Wrestling: Origins. It would then change to RIOT! Pro Wrestling, and he would retain the title at RIOT! Pro Chapter 1: Paradise Found. He would be scheduled for a second defense at RIOT! Pro Chapter 2: The Midsts of War, however, the event would be cancelled with RIOT! would be absorbed into its parent company, ALPHA Wrestling.

ALPHA Wrestling (April 2019 - Current)[]

Shane, when the company RIOT! Pro was merged with ALPHA Wrestling, held onto his Grand Championship, which would become a midcard title for the parent company. The match he was originally scheduled to defend it in, a singles match versus Aiden Balmer, will take place at ALPHA Ascendance 2019 on May 26th, 2019. On April 17th, he was announced as the final entrant in the 2019 ALPHA Gauntlet of Glory, the company's most prestigious tournament to decide who will headline the company's biggest even of the year, Gods Among Us, to challenge for the ALPHA World Heavyweight Championship.

Shane would end up not winning his block, and thus would not make it to the tournament finals to earn the opportunity mentioned above. However, he would still be scheduled for the Ascendance PPV that the company would hold on May 26th, 2019. In this card, Shane would be defending the ALPHA Grand Championship in a triple threat against one half of Death Squad, Aiden Balmer, and ALPHA newcomer Cassidy Hart. Holliday would fail to retain the Grand Championship in this match, losing the belt to Hart.

After this, Shane would be in a qualifying match for the Chase for the Case match, a six man ladder match that is to take place at ALPHA's Gods Among Us PPV, the biggest show of the year for the company. Holliday would win the qualifier and solidify himself a place in the match. The Chase for the Case winner, via climbing a ladder and grabbing a briefcase, earns themselves a 24/7 contract to challenge for the ALPHA World Heavyweight Championship any time, anywhere. Shane would lose the match, but would be announced as an entrant in the Thrive to Survive battle royal, a 30 man Royal Rumble match at the next PPV to kick off the second cycle of the calendar for ALPHA Wrestling, Killer Instinct. Holliday, would fail to win this match, and be used sparingly in the coming months.

On September 23rd, Holliday would attack Bradley "Ice" Jones after his match with Jon Jrygin, alongside Elijah Jordan, Lukas Thayer, and Christian Black. Shane would denounce his playful persona and go by his real name, Shane McCormack, Jr., forming 'Exodus'. The group, despite the hot angle debut, would actually go on to be mainly used as filler and enhancement talent for a large part of their run, ending in November when Shane would redebut after a number of weeks being off television, going back to his original gimmick in a 20 person match to crown the first Empyrean Champion for ALPHA. Holliday would not be victorious, and would also end up losing in the first round of the ALPHA Zenith Championship tournament over Thanksgiving weekend when the champion, Jordan Rattler, was stripped of the title and suspended.

Shane would get a massive upset win over Jairo Sterling, Jr. on an episode of ALPHA Wrestling, with Jairo taking a hiatus from the promotion shortly after, who would end up returning by Break or Be Broken on February 23rd, 2020. Shane would then go on to get a shock victory over Jon Jrygin, a rival of his from Nike Pro, but would give him a win back later in the month of January. After a decisive victory over Derek Gunslinger on the February 12th, 2020 episode of ALPHA Wrestling, ALPHA commissioner Andrew Kaelin would have Holliday detained by the law, leading to Shane getting handcuffed and escorted out of the building. It would be announced that at Break or Be Broken on February 23rd, Shane would face off with Jon in a Last Man Standing match at the pay-per-view.

Shane would end up losing the bout, but get a chance at redemption against Jrygin in the first round of the ALPHA Ragnarok Royale 2020 in March. He would, however, lose this first round bout.

VANGUARD Pro (March 2019 - Current)[]

In March, Shane would sign with VANGUARD Pro, making his debut for the promotion on April 12th, defeating Marvelous Red at VANGUARD Chapter 3: Sit Down, Be Humble, in the opening contest. Shane would go on to defeat Kai Terblanche at Chapter V: Not Dead Yet. Shortly after Chapter 6, Holliday would be announced as one of the first participants in a tournament to decide the inaugural VANGUARD Pro Conquest Champion, taking on Jacob Knight in the first round at Chapter 7.

Nike Pro Combat (June 2019 - Current)[]

In June of 2019, Shane would join the Nike Pro Combat roster, with his first match scheduled to be July 7th, 2019. In his debut, Holliday would defeat another superstar that Nike Pro shares with ALPHA, George Anton, who at this point was ALPHA Tag Team Champion. At Combat II, Shane would defeat Arata Asakura to become the inaugural NIKE Pro World Champion. He would go on to lose the title in a triple threat featuring Arata and fellow competitor Jon Jrygin, who would win the title at Chapter III. During this time, Shane would also hint at a bit more of a heel persona, but ultimately would stay on the straight and narrow. At Chapter IV, Holliday would lose to Orion Ramsey, continuing his downward spiral.

Over the next couple of weeks, during the Nike Pro Aviator Invitational tour, Shane would defeat Ayden Starr in the first round of the Aviator Invitational, following it up with a win over Jordan Rattler in the semi finals. Shane would lose to Graham Baker in the finals, earning himself the runner up position. This would put him in a tag team match with Graham Baker, Arata Asakura, and Nike Pro Champion Jon Jrygin, where Jrygin and Shane would take on Arata and Graham. Baker would defeat Jon, earning himself a title match at Chapter VI. Meanwhile, Shane would face Arata at Chapter VI in a number one contender's match.

Limitless Wrestling (June 2019 - January/February 2020)[]

Holliday would join the roster of Limitless Wrestling, with his first match scheduled to take place in early June against Zoey Lukas. This match got a lot of media attention with Shane and Zoey started going at it on Twitter, leading to the intervention of Zoey's boyfriend, Murtagh. Murtagh and Shane also got into a battle of words, leading to Murtagh being banned from all future Limitless events. Shane would lose to Shaun Kasiano in his next match, but then would bounce back with his first win in the company at 1.21 Gigawatts against Nathan Wayne. Shane would go on to defeat No Mersey at the next show, winning the tag match and start gaining some momentum.

In January of 2020, after a brief hiatus by Limitless Wrestling and a change in ownership, Holliday would request his release after the creative team booked him to lose to West McFadden in a largely onesided bout, with McFadden even going as far as to wear street clothes to the match and no sell the little bit of offense Shane got. Doing the job because he's a professional, Holliday would leave the promotion shortly after, citing the obvious that management had played favorites and weren't pushing Shane as much as they originally planned to and had been building for, in favor of talent that was associated with the new owners as part of their clique.

National Oriental Wrestling (June 2019 - November 2019)[]

Shane participated in his first two matches in early July of 2019 for NOW, which also was the first weekend (the 5th through the 7th) that the company ran shows. On night two of the three day tour, Shane would team with Molly Barnes to defeat the team of Shaun Kasiano and Zafar Khan. After a number of weeks of feuding with Shaun Kasiano, Holliday would eventually break away from that feud and finds himself high on the ICC Heavyweight title rankings list. After a stretch of midcard matches and victories, Shane would reach the 3rd place spot on the ICC Rankings, only for the company to close down with the passing of the owner.

Shane is currently single, born to parents Shane McCormack, Sr. and Rachael McCormack (maiden name Everett). He has one brother, Travis McCormack, who lives in Portland, Oregan.
