Sammy J is an American professional wrestler currently working for Next Generation Wrestling (NGW) where she is on the show Genesis.
Background[]
Sammy J was born Samantha Maria Francesca De Luca on March 17, 1984 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Growing up in a pretty large Italian family, she alway felt like one of the guys. Her brothers and most of her male cousins all loved professional wrestling and she would always watch it with them. And pretty soon afterwards, it became her life.
Her father owned his own construction company and she would visit his job sites regularly and climb the ladders.
When Sammy was 19, she arrived home after having finished her freshman year of college to find her mother clinging to life in the family's kitchen from a gunshot wound to the chest. She then went to call 911 and search for her father. She would find her father in the basement dead of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Her mother would die a few days later. Every since then, she's been pretty skeptic about guns.
Training[]
Sammy is self-trained, having learned from watching many videos and going to different events. She would take the moves she had seen and practice them on her brothers and cousins in her backyard on the trampoline. After a while, her brothers and male cousins got so tired of them losing to her, that they pooled their money and got her into a wrestling school in Allentown, Pennsylvania pretty close to her college. Apart from wrestling training, she has also studied Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
Next Generation Wrestling[]
Sammy made her NGW debut on September 26 edition of Genesis. She participated in a Fatal Fourway Elimination Match which was part of a tournament to determine the number one contender for the NGW Diamond's Championship. She would pin Queen to secure her spot in the second round.
The next week on Genesis, Sammy would pin Michelle to move onto the finals. That same week, her cousin Cassie would join the company.

Sammy is currently in the all Diamonds stable, The Diamonds, along with her cousin Cassie, Christina Chambers and Emily Chambers.
Attire
In the ring, Sammy J wears basic tights and a racerbback type tank top. Currently her tights are dark purple (main color) and hot pink (accents)and made from a metallic material. The bottoms are dark purple with a hot pink waist band and hot pink nautical stars going up the side of the leg. The top is dark purple with hot pink around the neck area and the band around the bottom with hot pink swirls and nautical stars coming up from the bottom.

Personal life[]
Sammy is of Italian and Greek descent as well as part German and French on her mother's side.
She is fluent in 3 foreign languages: French, Italian and German. Sammy has 3 older brothers (Anthony, Mario and Marc).
Sammy has a love of American made muscle cars and fast cars. She owns 4 total cars: a 2005 Chevy Cobalt SS, a 1970 Pontiac GTO Judge, a 2009 Audi A4 and a 2007 Ford Mustang GT.
Sammy's favorite sports teams are the New York Mets,New England Patriots, Philadelphia Phillies, Philadelphia Eagles and the Cleveland Cavaliers.
She is the only girl in her school's history to be invited to play for the football team.
She is a graduate of Lehigh University with a degree in Foreign Languages.
She was once engaged but brok off the engagement when she caught her fiancee in bed with another woman. She is currently dating fellow NGW worker, Mark Roberts.
