Samuel Patrice Manson is a Canadian born professional wrestler, Sam Manson was the top student of Jeffery Wolfe's third batch of students at the Wolfe gym. Sam is signed to a contract with upstart promotion Last Stand Wrestling and has yet to make his professional debut.
Pre-Fame[]
Sam has been studying in the art of Kendo since the age of three, achieving the rank hachi-dan.
Sam Manson believes that his life didn't really get started until he entered high school. He attended Bowness High from 2004 until 2008. In the four years he spent at Bowness High, he spent most of his time with friend Derrick Prideux, who is an avid car enthusiast. In their junior year, they met Joshua Keller, a Toronto native who escaped his past by moving to Calgary.
Once high school came to an end, Sam enrolled with the Wolfe gym, a wrestling gym located in Toronto Ontario run by Jeffery Wolfe, a wrestling hall of famer. In September 2008, Sam left Calgary for what he believed would be nine months to train under the legendary Jeffery Wolfe. Seven months into the nine month course, Sam was granted early leave. Believing to have already known more than he could teach, Jeffery allowed Sam and early graduation and sent him home.
The Wolfe gym was closed for three weeks during the 2008 holiday season, during this time, Sam returned home to spend the holidays with his family. During this time, Sam was invited to a New Years party which was being hosted by acquaintance Selene Lyford. Sam arrived at the party with Derrick and Joshua, the night was said to be "Absolutely wild" with Sam Manson letting loose for the first time in a while. Rumour has it, that while in a drunken state, Sam noticed Selene collapsed in the laundry room. He walked over and sat with her in an attempt to comfort her in her state, this is when Selene vomited on Sam. To this day, Selene and Sam both credit Selene's vomit as the reason they became such close friends. On New Years, Sam also became better acquainted with Midori Hayashi, an over-the-top Japanese drama student. Following the party, Sam, Derrick, Joshua, Selene and Midori frequently spent time with each other, soon thereafter, they game themselves the name "The KAPOW Crew."
While Sam was still in training, Midori moved into the suburban home Sam was renting with roommates Felix Baker and Kyna Flynn.
