Russle Jack "Russ" Callard is an English-German professional wrestler and retired professional boxer currently signed to the DYSTOPIA [Fight Club] promotion.
Early life:[]
Russ Callard was born in Dudley, England. His mother passed away giving birth to the abnormally large child, having his father raise him as a single parent. Russ would play Rugby Union recreationally during his teenage years and would train in boxing as a means of self-defence, often being bullied for his weight.
Boxing Career:[]
Russ Callard would begin to train at Bobby Gatt's Boxing Gym in Birmingham, who would eventually go on to be his home camp once his boxing career started. On June 2013, Russ would win the UKBA World Super Heavyweight (+95.2 kg/210 lb) Championship, before suffering his first and final loss against American Jeremy Sutton, suffering a broken jaw that would ultimately end his boxing career. His final record would be 31 and 1, winning 27 of his bouts by knockout and the rest by decision.
