Ronin is a professional wrestling stable, primarily performing in the Strong Style Wrestling promotion. The stable was one of the four inaugural factions of the promotion. The group originated with Jack Herer (formerly Stark), Koji Senju, Mia Marie Vega, Steven Cassidy and Shark man as members. They were quickly joined by Levi Maximus. On January 28th, Atem Octavian Amun-Ra joined the group. Later, Ruin would join the group. During the hiatus, Ruin, Mia Marie Vega, Shark Man and Levi Maximus would leave the promotion. Following the hiatus, Tarah Nova, Piero, Endeavor & Damian Walker would join the group with Tarah becoming the new faction leader. In May, Avery Knight, Judas II, Masakazu and his insurance policy, Watari would join the group, with all of them being released before the end of the month. Piero was release on April 14th. on May 19th, Shaun Till would join the faction. On May 26th, Endeavor and Atem Octavian Amun-Ra would be released. On June 9th, Dr. Shrapnel, Marco Street and April Song would join the faction.

History

On January 21st, 2018, Kenji Senju defeated fellow Ronin member Steven Cassidy. Tres Comas Club's Maximus Grier would defeat Ryojin, who would later change back to his western name, Stark. Levi Maximus would be defeated by The Phantom Troupe's Saul Omen. On January 28th, Atem Octavian Amun-Ra defeated Ken Matsuda. Jack Herer, Shark Man & Levi Maximus defeated the Tres Comas Club team of André Virgo, Maximus Grier & Jun Nobunaga. Steven Cassidy & Koji Senju would be defeated by The Phantom Troupe's John Doe & Saul Omen. Post-match, John Doe would hold Steven Cassidy hostage to call out Masanori Kawada, who would try to make the save, only for Doe to punt Cassidy in the head before being chased off. On January 29th, Koji Senju left SSW. on January 31st, SSW announced that Steven Cassidy defected to the Shoot Nation faction following the events of the January 28th show. On April 1st, Tarah Nova and Piero would become the inaugural SSW Freebird Tag Team Champions by defeated Chase Vedder & Racer Smiles. Atem Octavian Amun-Ra would fail to capture the SSW Heritage Championship that same night against Khmaoch Sângkât.
