Jiro Nakai is a Japanese professional wrestler currently signed to INFINITY ∞ Puroresu. He wasformerly signed to Elite Answers Wrestling's Voltage brand under the stage name Riki Nakai (Stylized as NAKAI).
Following his Young Lion year with INFINITY ∞ Puroresu, NAKAI was offered a learning excursion in the United States through EAW and transferred over under the stage name Riki NAKAI, the name Riki meaning strength. Over his first weeks with the promotion, NAKAI would lose his first few matches to the likes of Butcher, Nico Borġ & Prince Havokk. His charisma became very noticeable by the viewers of EAW, as he would generate a well-received reaction despite his losing efforts and short matches. NAKAI would pick up his first win for the promotion on June 17th, defeating Christian Faith & Dave Kenzo in the pre-show. Riki NAKAI was drafted to the Voltage brand following Pain For Pride 9. He was not booked after the draft and was instead released later in the year.
In June of 2017, rumours began to spread that NAKAI has come to an agreement to return to EAW after his year-long disappearance from the company, rumoured to return after EAW Pain For Pride X. Vignettes for NAKAI's Voyagers group were teased, however, the group never made it to EAW television as NAKAI would quickly return to INFINITY ∞ Puroresu.
