The RWF World Heavyweight Championship was a professional wrestling world heavyweight championship in the Revolution Wrestling Federation.
History[]
The RWF World Heavyweight Championship was introduced in 1999 with a tournament held to crown a winner. Brian Slack defeated Awesome Kong in the final round to become the inaugural champion.
In 2001, upon Mike Angelo of the WIWF faction beating then champion, Nick Hart, the title was declared as the WIWF championship. The original belt even was destroyed by acid, with WIWF being burnt into it. When Hart won the title back two weeks later, the new belt was given to Hart, using the same design as previous the belt.
Fred Debonair held the title more times than any other RWF wrestler with 6 reigns. He also held it for the most days in all combined reigns with 284 days. The longest individual reign was 139 days by Bryan Sweet. The shortest reign was by Myke Adams who vacated the title less than 24 hours after winning it.
