Pyramid Battle is an upcoming pay-per-view (PPV) event, which will be produced by Premium Championship Wrestling . Previously, the name of this event was included in YouTube Championship Wrestling 's schedule, although no Pyramid Battle event has ever been produced. The first event is scheduled to take place on September 25th, 2010.
Concept[]
The Pyramid Battle event is headlined by the Pyramid Tournament. Prior to the show, there will be qualifying matches. Only eight men will advance to this grueling, titanic structure, in the shape of a metal pyramid, consisting of three floors. The first floor, dubbed "The Early Death" sports four regular wrestling rings, and in each two men will fight. In these standard matches, whoever wins advances to the next phase of the tournament. These battered four men must climb by a ladder into the next level, dubbed "The Metallic Torture" which is a scaffold solely made out of cold steel. These wrestlers will now have to knock their new opponent down to the ground for a ten count. Whoever survives this grueling war, being already battered, must climb to the final stage, "The Pharaoh's Temple", which is a cube made out of bulletproof glass, filled with the most brutal weapons in professional wrestling. The finalists will have to fight between themselves, break the glass on the top of the cage, and climb, holding through the pyramid, until the great prize, which is a solid gold statue of Anubis, the Egyptian God of the afterlife. The reward for the victory of the match is a guaranteed PCW Unified Heavyweight Championship match anytime, anywhere, anyway, and eternal honors for winning such a brutal competition.
