The Puroresu Heavyweight Championship is a professional wrestling championship owned by the Strong Style Wrestling (SSW) promotion. The title was officially announced on January 9, 2018, and the inaugural champion will be decided in the finals of a 16-man tournament. However, this tournament wouldn't come to fruition due to the legal issues that kept SSW from continuing their production. However, on March 20th, 2018, it was announced that the promotion would be resurrected from it's long hiatus with its first show, Exodus, hosting the match to crown the inaugural champion. The match would be contested between Jaydayne Pendragon, leader of the Shoot Nation faction, along with CM Nas and Aria Jaxon, members of The Phantom Troupe faction in a triple threat match.
