Pilgrim Paige is a Canadian professional wrestler. She is currently signed to 4 Corners Wrestling, where she competes on their monthly show Storm Front. In August 2018, Paige returned to competition after spending four months recuperating from injuries sustained at Revival XII and earned a shot at the World Championship in the inaugural Rumble in the Storm match. At Gallows End '18, her dream was realized, and she went on to reign as World Champion for 270 days. She was inducted into the 4CW Hall of Fame in 2020, and became a Grand Slam Champion in 2022. As of August 2022, Paige is one half of the current tag team champions with Kinzy Kane.

4 Corners Wrestling (2016 - Present)[]

Debut (2016)[]

Paige debuted in 4CW on the 16th of March, 2016, in a losing effort against Gunnar Jarlsson. This was a singles match for a shot at entering the Soul Survivor tournament.

Paige would continue competing in singles action in the months to follow, gaining a reputation as an eager new competitor with a fierce and fearless demeanour.

The Coven, risk-taking and various feuds (Oct. 2016 - Dec. 2017)[]

Paige meets Tsukiko (Sept. 1st, 2016)[]

In the wake of Oki-Kira's return to Japan, he hand-selected Paige's new personal trainer. On the 1st of September, 2016, Paige drove to the St. John's airport to pick up her new trainer. After a short wait, she was greeted by an attractive young Japanese woman with blue hair and wearing a teal coat. When Paige addressed her, she did not speak. Paige wondered to herself if this woman—like her former trainer—might be mute. This proved to be a prank, however, and the woman introduced herself as Tsukiko Mizuno. The two were soon getting along quite well, with both women having a good feeling about training together.

Paige meets Hazel (Sep. 16th, 2016)[]

While relaxing in the Moontower on a cool September night, Paige had an unexpected—and in fact, her first—visitor. Paige was initially frightened and suspicious, wondering what manner of person could possibly be outside the door of her secluded home in the trees at such an hour. This late visitor was a young woman by the name of Hazel, who noted being a friend to Tsukiko. Hazel noted that Tsukiko is a practitioner of practical magic, drawing strength primarily from her love of water. Hazel noted that she, herself, had been a subscriber of Dianic Wicca, for some time, noting herself as being a kind of hedge witch. After a talk about personal strength, spirituality and kitchen witchery, the two got along decently and Hazel took her leave, leaving Paige intrigued.

Prepping for Gallows End (Oct. 28th, 2016)[]

Paige prepped for Gallows End with Tsukiko and Hazel, engaging in a meditative ritual together. This was their first ritual together as a coven, and Hazel's first ritual in many years as part of a group, being typically inclined—as with most hedge witches—to practice alone.

In the wake of Gallows End / Transgender Day of Remembrance (Nov. 20th, 2016)[]

The trio engaged in a ritual in solidarity on November 20th, 2016. Afterward, Paige made a remark about how badly she'd been beaten at Gallows End, which Tsukiko rejected as unearned negativity and bluntly gave her perspective on the matter. This cheered Paige up somewhat. As Hazel and Tsukiko exited the Moontower, Tsukiko looked back and winked at Paige, then headed down the spiral staircase and gaily danced about, waiting for Hazel. Hazel made a comment to Paige, noting that she couldn't quite pin down what it was she was sensing about Paige's thoughts; almost as though she had been trying to read them. Paige seemed to think so, taking umbrage with Hazel's apparent efforts into "seeing" Paige's mind. Hazel then apologized and exited the treehouse.

The Coven: Paige, Hazel and Tsukiko debut as a trio in 4CW (Feb. 19th, 2017)[]

Hazel and Tsukiko made their on-screen debut in 4CW on the 19th of February, 2017, appearing on the stage with Paige as she made her entrance ahead of a singles match against Supreme. Together, the trio were known as The Coven, and had a shared theme song for their dramatic group entrance. Tsukiko and Hazel stood at ringside for Paige throughout the hard-fought match, which was ultimately won by Supreme.

The trio worked well together, with Tsukiko and Paige often teaming together and utilizing Hazel as an enforcer and/or insurance policy. This habit of having her interfering in matches was addressed in a humorous moment between Hazel and the GM of the time, Lord Skywolf, at Gallows End 2017. The Coven had a few run-ins with the GM in their day, and a running gag for some time was that Skywolf could never remember Tsukiko's name. The Coven were also known for their post-match attacks, which often concluded with their synchronized faction finishing maneuver, Hex Omega.

Collapse of the Coven / Feud with Witch Hazel (Dec. 2017 - April 2018)[]

4CW War (December 31st, 2017)[]

At 4CW War in December 2017, The Coven competed against Brian White, Tommy Young and Sery in a WAR match. Hazel turned against her friends/teammates, brutally attacking Pilgrim Paige and Tsukiko Mizuno. This effectively split up The Coven, with the faction name being used to refer to the remaining duo out of sheer habit. After being eliminated from the match, Hazel injured Paige and used her "Brain Fog" mist to temporarily send Tsukiko into a blind rage. Hazel went on to retrieve a plush unicorn from beneath the ring and climb the cell structure, watching the chaos from above. After Brian White secured victory by scoring the winning pinfall on Tsukiko, Hazel's emotional whirlwind found her weeping on top of the cell and hollering out for her "sad song", which played over the PAs as the show closed.

The reason Hazel attacked Paige / Return from injury / 4CW Revival (Jan. 2018 - April 2018)[]

Revival 2018 details are absent for now, but relevant info on why Hazel injured Paige can can be found here:

Return from injury and Rumble in the Storm (Aug. to Sept. 2018)[]

In the wake of Revival '18, Pilgrim Paige spent four months on the injured list, recuperating. Paige made her return to in-ring competition on August 26th, 2018, as a surprise entrant in the inaugural Rumble in the Storm match. Paige drew #30 and accumulated three eliminations. The end of the match saw Eddie Wolfbaine and Pilgrim Paige eliminate one another at the same time, thus resulting in a tie victory and both competitors earning the #1 contender's spot for the 4CW World Championship.

  • An awkward, brief "reunion" of The Coven occurred when Tsukiko, Oki-Kira, Pilgrim Paige and Witch Hazel found themselves all in the ring at the same time. This broke down quickly, however, and the four returned to normal competition, attacking former allies just like they were any other competitors.

Paige picked up a victory in a very hard-fought contest against Eddie Wolfbaine on the September 30th edition of 4CW Storm Front, gaining some momentum for herself going into the Gallows End '18 world title match.

4CW World Champion (Oct. 31st, 2018 - July. 2019)[]

Title win[]

At Gallows End 2018, Paige scored her biggest victory yet by defeating Jacob Scharff and Eddie Wolfbaine, thus winning the 4CW World Championship. After the official announcement, Paige was overcome with emotion and cried upon receiving the belt itself.

Seeds of the Scharff vs Paige feud / First title defense[]

In the wake of Paige's victory at Gallows End, Jacob Scharff made it clear he wasn't done with The Golden Pilgrim. In a MoreCW interview conducted shortly after December's End of Year Awards Show concluded, Scharff told Marie Dubois he had unfinished business with Paige.

At 4CW Storm Front: WAR II in December 2018, Paige successfully defended her title in a triple threat match against Jacob Scharff and Phil McGroin.

Competitive feud with Jacob Scharff / Second title defense[]

Shortly after Paige's victory at War II, in which she pinned Phil McGroin, 4CW GM Sery was interviewed by Gabriel Crowe for a MoreCW piece. Here, he announced that at Revival XIII, Paige would defend her title against Scharff in a 2-out-of-3 Falls match.

Flash forward to February 2019: In aid of piquing Paige's competitive curiosity, Scharff went on to talk about their competitive history together and drew some parallels between Paige and himself. After some colourful back-and-forth between the two, Paige and Scharff signed the contract that solidified the main event match for Revival XIII. Minutes after the signing, Paige faked Scharff out with a blast of Moon Mist that she ultimately directed skyward rather than forward.

On the March 2019 edition Storm Front, Scharff and Paige tested each other by way of Pick Your Poison matches: Scharff had Paige take on Chaos Raines, while Paige had Scharff take on Elfan Simtul. Both Paige and Scharff were victorious in their respective matches. Paige then upped the ante on the Revival title match by suggesting the 2-out-of-3 Falls stipulation be tweaked to make it a 3 Stages of Hell match. Scharff agreed, and the 3 Stages were set as:

  • A strap match (Scharff's pick)
  • A Graveyard by Moonlight match (Paige's pick)
  • A standard singles match (mutually agreed upon)

Pilgrim Paige successfully defended her title in a 3 Stages of Hell match against Scharff at Revival XIII. The match went on for all three of its stages.

Post-Revival XIII activity and Universal Champion (2019 - 2020)[]

Tag team division (2021 - Present)[]

See article: Neon Moon[]

On the January 2021 edition of Storm Front, Paige and Kinzy squared off against S&M in a #1 contenders' match for the 4CW Tag Team Championships. After a hard-fought match that included some veteran teamwork and trash-talking from S&M and a tricky play by Dirk Meyer that resulted in a bloody nose for Paige, the upstart team secured the victory and a guaranteed title match against then-champions Umbra Maxima (Elfan Simtul and Maximillian Yesgill).

At Storm Front: Declaration in February 2020, the as-yet-unnamed team of Kinzy Kane and Pilgrim Paige competed for the tag team titles against Umbra Maxima. Just when it seemed like Paige had the match won, Yesgill hit her with a title belt, thus causing a DQ victory for Paige and Kinzy—a win condition in which the title cannot change hands.

As a result of Yesgill and Simtul costing Hyperdrive the Franchise titles (as retaliation for Kinzy and Paige nearly handing Umbra Maxima a championship loss), the March 2021 edition of Storm Front saw Paige and Kinzy (referred to for the first time as Neon Moon) team up with the Synth City Thrillers to take on Umbra Maxima and The Liberation. This was a fast-paced, chaotic contest that saw Garrett Fischer secure the victory for his team.

Revival XV originally started on April 25th, 2021, but skipped ahead one year in time as the result of Quentin Cosmo accidentally triggering a time-jump with his paradox-causing belt. Thus, the scheduled tag team championship gauntlet match instead took place on April 25th, 2022. Silent Sorcery drew the #1 entry spot and The Liberation drew #2. Silent Sorcery eliminated The Liberation via pinfall, but were subsequently eliminated by the #3 draw, Umbra Maxima. Next, the Synth City Thrillers entered at #4 fought hard but were also defeated. Neon Moon drew #5. Paige and Kinzy arrived on stage via a TARDIS while their new theme music and 4CWTron video played; this was also the first time Paige wore her Kinzy-esque tag team attire. After a high-impact, back-and-forth contest, Neon Moon picked up the win and the tag team title belts.

Paige and Kinzy drew the first two entries in the July 2022 Rumble in the Storm match. They competed against one another in good sport, but also worked as a team to take on Supergroup representatives Jerome Grayson and Rane, as well as Jon Viper and S&M. Kinzy and Paige were eventually eliminated by Xavier Avana, at separate points in the match. (Kinzy was the #12 elimination, Paige was #20.)

Graveyard by Moonlight match[]

Stipulation summary[]

The Graveyard by Moonlight is a stipulation match created by Paige. It may be contested between two or more competitors. This match type finds its roots in the principal elements of both the ladder match and the casket match. In a Graveyard by Moonlight match, a manually operated spotlight is suspended twenty feet above the middle of the ring. To win this match, a competitor must first place the opponent in the casket and close the lid. Next, a ladder must be climbed in order to reach the spotlight, turn it on, and shine the light down upon the casket. Note that in a multi-competitor environment, a competitor may gain victory by shining the spotlight onto the casket even if that competitor did not personally place the casket's occupant.
