OWA Redemption (2013) was a pay-per-view event hosted by Online Wrestling Alliance, which took place on June 21, 2013. It hosted the finals of the 2013 King Of The World Tournament.
The official theme for the event was "Children of the Grave" by Black Sabbath.
Background[]
The main event match leading into the event is Craig Anderson defending the World Heavyweight Championship against Chris Hunter from Sudden Impact. For reasons unknown right now, Preston Scott (who, in his new authority position, defeated Hunter for the Hardcore Championship and renamed it after himself) named him the #1 Contender.
Another high-end feud heading into the event is Preston Scott against Alex Johnson. After the humiliation of his father and disintegration of his family at Chained, Alex Johnson took it upon himself to sabotage Scott's plans of taking complete control of OWA. He interfered in a World Title Match, which Scott claims cost him his chance to be champion.
Redemption will also be the stage for the finals of the illustrious King Of The World Tournament, in which the winner will earn the main event spot at Stairway To Stardom IV against the World Heavyweight Champion.
