Event[]
Preliminary Matches[]
Before the pay-per-view went on the air, Jeff Palmer defeated Julio Zapien to retain the OWA European Championship.
As the show began, Matt Young made a triumphant return to OWA when he defeated Messiah in less than 20 seconds. Moments before the Pot of Gold Ladder Match, a reporter caught up with Militia members OWA Tag Team Champion Craig Anderson and OWA Intercontinental Champion Abigail Jade to get their thoughts on rumors swirling that the stable would break up. They both firmly denied the rumors.
The Pot of Gold Ladder Match that followed was revered by many as the most violent in history. At one moment, Jeff Palmer was close to victory until he was double powerbombed from the top of the ladder by Anderson and Jade, and sent crashing through a stack of tables at ringside. Jade ended Alex West's hopes of winning when she used a blowtorch and gasoline to spit a fireball into his face. However, soon afterwards, she was assaulted by a pipe-wielding masked man who emerged from the crowd.
Anderson, who was already climbing the ladder at this point, failed to see the attack and took the opportunity to retrieve the briefcase. Once he saw his stable-mate knocked out, he called for help and aided her to the backstage area.
Main Event Match[]
A brief video package documented the rise of The Militia and Zack Richards in OWA, and named Jordan Ryan the man to stop them. The match that followed did a lot to support that theory, but when Zapien made his way to ringside, just the 2-on-1 atmosphere was enough to throw the young challenger off his game.
Even after a finisher, Ryan was unable to put the champion away. In a state of desperation, Richards gave his bodyguard the nod, prompting him to jump up onto the apron and slip a pair of brass knuckles to his boss, undetected by the referee. This slight-of-hand allowed Richards to smack Ryan in the back of the head, knocking him out cold. When Zapien left the ring apron, the referee counted the pinfall as Richards retained.
While Anderson and Jade came out to celebrate Richards' hard-fought victory, Anderson did the unthinkable - he blasted Zapien out of nowhere with his newly won briefcase, prompting Richards and Jade to escape the ring, thus turning Anderson face. The show ended with Craig Anderson warning his Tag Team Champion partner of his guaranteed title shot.
