OWA Adamantium is the latest weekly show presented by Online Wrestling Alliance. OWA originally aired twice weekly each Tuesday and Friday night, but now airs solely on Friday nights at 7pm. The show features professional wrestling matches, promotional scenes and other content.

The show was originally called simply "OWA", but beginning with the April 18, 2014 episode of the show, it has been renamed to "OWA Adamantium".

History[]

The show began with its first episode airing on February 21, 2014. The show featured many new wrestlers to the company, including Daniel StrawberryJerri Brekke and Sarinyde, plus some returning wrestlers as well. The main event was a World Heavyweight Championship Match between Zack Richards and Jeff Palmer. As Palmer seemed to be closing in on his first world title, Julio Zapien -- who had been out for several months with a broken neck -- jumped the rail and attacked his former ally Richards. On the February 25, 2014 edition, Richards and the returning Angel (following their match where the former defeated the latter) interfered in the #1 Contender's main event between Zapien and Palmer, attacking both of them as a measure of revenge.

A New Era[]

September 5, 2014[]

Following an announcement made by Trip Johnson at the beginning of the September 5, 2014 episode of Adamantium, Online Wrestling Alliance entered a new era, driven by entertainment. The main event of the episode was made clear from the beginning -- Jeff Palmer was to defend the World Heavyweight Championship against The Thundermaker, who would have Stu E. Dangerously in his corner. To kick off the show, Alex West retained the United States Championship against Beck Wade in an impressive showing. After the match, Zack Richards appeared at the top of the ramp with a sarcastic slow clap while West looked on confused.

Jeff Palmer expressed his excitement to go out and entertain the fans in the main event during a backstage interview, before Helena Bertinelli defeated Desiree Riley in a non-title match. Jerri Brekke came down to the ring, extended her hand and expressed her tremendous respect for the Women's Champion. She also stated that she wanted nothing more than to hold the title, and asked Helena for the chance by challenging her to a match. Helena returned the respectful gesture, and accepted her challenge.

Sarinyde quickly and decisively defeated Spanko Blanco in a match -- but the European Champion wasn't done, as he assaulted his defeated opponent after the closing bell. Spanko's good friend Salty Tiger rushed to the ring, prompting Sarinyde to grab his title and flee. During the next in-ring segment, OWA Champion Bryan Daniels berated the crowd, and expressed disappointment in the competition presented to him. He also revealed a morality clause in his contract, which would allow him to leave the company should he feel his skills weren't being tested, and could take any championships he may hold with him.

Before the main event, Stu E. Dangerously taunted Jeff Palmer in the ring, claiming that even though he defeated Cash Morgan in a Ladder Match to retain his title, he still had one more member of his crew that he hadn't defeated, prompting The Thundermaker to enter. Palmer eventually defeated Thundermaker following a Big Finnish, but Stu E. repeated the same phrase he stated at the beginning -- "There's still one more member of my crew you're yet to defeat". Perplexed, Palmer tried to get answers before he was ambushed by a chair-wielding Angel.

Angel assaulted the champion viciously, leaving him in a pool of his own blood. He shook hands with Dangerously as Dangerously raised his arm in triumph, revealing that Angel was the one he was referring to all along.
