Avery Micaela Black (born February 5th, 1997) is an American professional independent wrestler, wrestling under the ring name Noir Harmony Avery.

Her professional wrestling career began in early 2016 at the age of nineteen. She is currently being trained at the War Room Dojo in Brooklyn, New York, ran by the accomplished professional wrestler, Stephanie "Cloud" Matsuda.

Early Life[]

Black was born and raised in The Bronx, New York, the youngest of five children born to Marcellus Black, and Gabriela Núñez. Her siblings are Anthony (born 1994), a basketball player for the New York Knicks, Ashley (born 1990), a Licenced Practical Nurse Armando (born 1987), a high school English Teacher, and Alison (born 1980), who is currently serving the United States Army. Her father immigrated to The Bronx from Kingston, Jamaica, where he met her mother. Black and her older brother Anthony both attended Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School, where she participated in their Musicology program and he, their Public School Athletic League until she graduated in 2015.

Professional Wrestling Career[]

In 2015, Black decided to become a pro wrestler. After attending a couple of local shows and befriending several wrestlers, she met Stephanie Matsuda at a Doghouse Academy event. Matsuda told her about the opening of her new school, The War Room Dojo. While Black was trained by Matsuda in 2016, she became part of Matsuda's first class when the Dojo opened in 2017. While she mainly trained under Matsuda, she received training from Aria Jaxon and Tarah Nova in 2017 when the three Empire wrestlers were on mutual terms. According to Matsuda, Black became one of her most prized students, adopting a balanced move set in favor of a complex style focused in one area. This approach represents Matsuda's personal philosophy with adopting a style that's ready for anything In 2016, Black made her debut at the Michael Hunter Memorial Show in Brooklyn when she defeated Tiffany Santana in the opening match. Later, she became a regular throughout the east New York wrestling scene, wrestling for promotions as Dog House Wrestling (DHW), School of Hardknocks (SHK), and Empire State Wrestling. She won her first title in early 2017, when she won the ESW Women's Championship.

Joshi Extreme Takeover (2017-Present)[]

In early 2017, Black traveled to Japan where she was signed by Joshi Extreme Takeover. She made her first appearance at JET Naha, in Okinawa, Japan. After spending several months in the lower mid card, she got her first title match against Natsu Toyama for the JET Young Lioness Championship. She lost the match but received praise from crowd for putting on a strong effort.
