New Orleans Pro Wrestling, or mostly known by it's abbreviated name, NOPW, is a American Professional Wrestling Promotion. The Promotion was formed in 1992 by at the time, recently released WCW Wrestler, Derick Reeves. The company was defunct due to Reeve's unfortunate death in 1996, but was revived by Reeve's Brother-In-Law, Somaje Maverick and his wife Michelle Maverick in 2012 and has been an active promotion ever since.
The show runs regularly on the Pro Wrestling Network, a streaming site that broadcasts weekly Pro Wrestling events and Pay-Per-Views, including broadcasting Promotions like New Japan Pro Wrestling, National Wrestling Alliance, and Progress Wrestling. NOPW continues to be the most watched and most successful program on the streaming service alongside NJPW and Grand Prix Pro Wrestling, a company based in Osaka, Japan that many fans believe is the rival of NOPW due to their
