New ERA RAUCOUS was the primary television show of New ERA of Wrestling. It featured anywhere between 5-7 matches. Due to the fact that RAUCOUS ran on non-cable television channels, it did not have a set weekly schedule, nor did it have a set runtime. Initially the flagship program of New ERA of Wrestling from 2004-2009, it was kept as the primary television program for the WFW:NE after the merger between New ERA and the WFW. On January 20, 2010, after the end of the merger between New ERA and WFW, the show was brought back over and re-christened "New ERA RAUCOUS." The show aired its last episode on September 03, 2010. The final episode was taped on April 25, 2010, however due to the pulling of funds by EC Enterprises and the resulting court case, it took nearly 5 months for the events to be broadcast. The result of the court case reaffirmed EC Enterprises intent to pull funding and New ERA of Wrestling was officially closed on September 25, 2010.
When the league announced its smaller-scale return on December 24, 2010, RAUCOUS remained on the shelf in favor of New ERA Cyberstrike.
