History of the National Wrestling Alliance
The National Wrestling Alliance was two delevopmental leagues to the current Christian Championship Wrestling and now a rival to the CCW. The purchase of both American Wrestling Alliance and Global Wrestling Alliance was in opperation since June 6th, 2006. Both American Wrestling Alliance and Global Wrestling Alliance was closed down on August 25, 2006 due to low of turn-outs. It was rumered that National Wrestling Alliance would restart those companies in one fashion or another. It was discovered that Christian Championship Wrestling bought them away from the National Wrestling Alliance them away from them to counter act the monopolizing actions of the National Wrestling Alliance.
NWA goes developmental with World Championship Wrestling
The National Wrestling Alliance and World Championship Wrestling agreed in early November 6, 2006 to coinside with each other. WCW will be able to use NWA superstars and will be producing its own Web-Pay-Per-View Events.
Deal with Maximillion Pegasus Omnimedia Inc.
The National Wrestling Alliance signed a deal with Maximillion Pegasus on January 8, 2007, to incorporate new ratings in both promotions. Vince McMahon said in a press release that this is a joint venture project that will run until the end of 2008. Both companies will use each others marquee names to raise ratings to the shows. It is unclear that this is a buy out.
Invasion
On May 31, 2008, National Wrestling Alliance with World Championship Wrestling, World Wrestling Entertainment, and World Wrestling All-Stars went to battle with Christian Championship Wrestling, Total Nonstop Action, American Wrestling Alliance', and Global Wrestling Alliance for ownership over the losing teams. National Wrestling Alliance came up short along with World Championship Wrestling, World Wrestling Entertainment, World Wrestling All-Stars, Total Nonstop Action, American Wrestling Alliance', and Global Wrestling Alliance to Christian Championship Wrestling. Christian Championship Wrestling decided to form United Wrestling Federation to make one company instead of having too many brands under their belt.
