Nathan Jefferson Pierce, better known as Nate Pierce, is an American professional wrestler currently signed to Infinite Pro Wrestling (IPW). He is most known for his work in Anonymous Xtreme Wrestling in the Xtreme Hardcore Federation where he was the second holder of the company's coveted Briefcase and a former AXW Undisputed Champion.

Pierce initially debuted in 2011 on the final show of old NWC territory, the Big Apple Wrestling Federation and later wrestled in the now dissolved Global Wrestling Alliance before signing on with UK-based promotion, Anonymous Xtreme Wrestling.

Professional Wrestling[]

Big Apple Wrestling Federation (2011)[]

Pierce had his first taste of ring action on the final edition of BAWF's Friday Night Heat on July 1, 2011, against Saerin Aurora under the name Ward Pierce. Aurora had called out the members representing Minnesota State Wrestling but Pierce instead came out and challenged Aurora on the spot. He would initially lose after being choked out by a triangle choke but after Aurora refused to relinquish the hold, the decision was reversed, giving the win to Pierce instead.

Global Wrestling Alliance (2015)[]

At some point in the latter half of 2015, Pierce signed a contract with the Global Wrestling Alliance, making his debut for the company on the August 11th edition of Spotlight, picking up a surprise victory over GWA Hall of Famer, Brewer. The following Tuesday, he suffered a loss to The Killer via submission. On the August 23rd edition of Showcase, Pierce would pick up another victory against Brewer, this time by countout. After the match, Pierce reluctant shook hands with Cult Palomino, a former colleague of his who came out to manage Pierce for the night despite obvious differences in ideals. Two days later, Pierce would square off against CJ Busha for the GWA International Championship but lost by disqualification after The Killer came in and interfered, greatly infuriating Pierce. On August 30th, he would pick up his third victory over Brewer by pinfall before calling Cult out being a snake after the latter was clotheslined by Brewer. On September 1st, Pierce had his rematch for the International Title against Busha, this time coming out victorious to become the new champion. A week and a half later, Pierce would suffer an injury against Johnny3tears in a non-title match, something which would cost him the title two days later by losing to Mike Lio. Following this, Pierce terminated his contract for personal reasons as he opted to return to his home state of Connecticut in order to think his career choices over.

Xtreme Hardcore Federation (2018-Present)[]

Anonymous Xtreme Wrestling[]

After being absent from the wrestling world for nearly three years, Pierce made a return under his real name by signing with AXW on June 8th, 2018. Nate would make his debut for the promotion on July 2nd in a losing effort with fellow newcomer Jamie Lee Dunne in a tag match against Roger Riggs and Dreadvan. After a month of inactivity with the fed due to commitments outside of wrestling, he would return for the August 27th edition of Anonymous TV in a Triple Threat match against Riggs and XHF Legend, Price. After a lengthy battle between the three, Pierce eventually snatched the win by rolling up Price before being brutally assaulted post-match by the man. Nearly three weeks later at the Final Frontier pay-per-view, Pierce took part in a 15-Man Battle Royale in which the winner would receive a briefcase that they could cash in at any time for a championship match of their choosing. Nate entered the match at Number 7, scoring multiple eliminations throughout the match by eliminating the likes of Jamie Lee Dunne, Leon Chant, Skinny Pete, and Feargal Nukebuster. He would also go on to eliminate the remaining three that included Mutt, Anomoly, and Killa Kai, thus making him the winner of the Battle Royale and the second holder of the coveted Briefcase. On October 1st during AXW's U.S. Tour, Pierce defeated the returning Brad Swann before marching out later on in the night to cash-in on a beaten down James Raymond for the AXW Undisputed Championship, which Pierce was successful in claiming as he put Raymond away with the Anchors Away. On November 26, Pierce lost the Undisputed Championship to Duke Kosloff following interference from Kosloff's tag partner, Chaos.

Infinite Pro Wrestling (2022-Present)[]

On July 31, 2022, it was reported that Pierce had signed a contract with Infinite Pro Wrestling, signaling another return after being away from the ring for another spell of time following his release after a rather uneventful venture in Japanese Renaissance of Kakuto (J-ROK). During his run with the company, Pierce would join forces with Spike Kane and PRICE (known as Chaos Theory) and challenge for the IPW World Tag Team Championship against The Dead End Express but fall short with the resulting damage sidelining Kane indefinitely. After a company wide hiatus, Pierce was then put in a match for the IPW National Openweight Championship against Alastor Touchdown at Discovery. Despite the 3-to-1 odds of Pierce having to deal with Team Touchdown (Alastaor Touchdown, James Griggs Riley, & Tuna Meltzer), he would emerge victory to win the championship for the first time.

Personal Life[]

Outside of wrestling, Pierce works part-time as a fisherman in New Haven, something he had been working as following his departure from GWA. Before becoming a fisherman, Pierce was part of the U.S. Marines for four years before retiring from the service and moving into the wrestling scene.
