Sarah Jacqueline Alma Greene (born July 24, 1994) is a British professional wrestler currently signed to Omega Wrestling Alliance, where she performs on the Odyssey brand under the ring name Natalie Cage, and is the current and longest-reigning OWA Women's World Champion in her first reign. She was the winner of the inaugural 2019 Clash of the Goddesses match and has headlined numerous major OWA events, including Civil War 2019. Her first reign as the OWA Women's World Champion is the longest reign of any champion in the OWA.

Early Life[]

Greene was born at Tameside Hospital in the town of Ashton-under-Lyne in the Greater Manchester area. Her parents were Jane, a college teacher, and Gareth, an electrical engineer.

Greene and her family moved to the South East of England when she was 9. Uninterested in pursuing an academic route, she signed up for the military as soon as she could. By the time she was 16, she had already been fully trained and deployed in active service with the Royal Navy. She’s spoken of this time with mixed emotions. She credits her time in the navy with instilling her with a sense of discipline and physical prowess. But she expresses doubt over whether she contributed anything positive, and sadness over the friends that she lost.

Professional Wrestling Career[]

Omega Wrestling Alliance[]

Debut, Wolvesden and early feuds (2018)[]

Greene debuted in the Summer of 2018 as a heel. She was presented as the on-screen sister of her real-life half-brother, Nate Cage. Nate trained his sister and thought she progressed quickly, so brought her into OWA to be a character in Wolvesden, the stable of which he was a member. She took the ring name Natalie Cage, an obvious nod to her brother’s name. Initially, Natalie did not wrestle on television while part of Wolvesden, as she continued to train behind the scenes. Her role was as a self-described “extra” in the Wolvesden faction, where she would often menacingly stand in the background while her brother talked.

Cage made her in-ring debut on August 5, 2018, making short work of fellow newcomer, Serenity Scorpio on OWA Kingdom. Shortly after this, she entered into a partnership with Diantha Moreau, who had been on a losing streak since her debut. Over the next few weeks, Natalie attempted to recruit Diantha to Wolvesden, which culminated on the first ever Odyssey episode on September 1, 2018. Diantha officially joined the group and earned her first win on the same night, defeating Megan Harper in a squash match, with Natalie accompanying her to the ring.

The next week, on Odyssey II, Natalie and Diantha were interrupted in the ring by then-OWA Women’s World Champion, TyAnna Jupiter. TyAnna offered to put the belt on the line against both women at OWA Vindication in a triple threat match, which they accepted. The week after this, the team of Natalie Cage and Diantha Moreau defeated TyAnna Jupiter and Azumi Goto in a tag team match in the main event of Odyssey III, ahead of their title shot. At Vindication, the duo failed in capturing the title, when TyAnna Jupiter pinned Diantha Moreau off of a Crescent Beam kick.

Following their loss, Natalie and Diantha were put through “trials” by Wolvesden for failing to capture the title. This included both physical and mental challenges that were pre-taped at Wolvesden’s headquarters, Heaven’s Den. The trials officially confirmed the involvement of Roni De Vil as a part of Wolvesden, making the faction’s presence on Odyssey a trio. On Odyssey VI, the Wolvesden team were joined by Aphrodite Marie to take on TyAnna Jupiter, Azumi Goto, Savannah Sunshine and “Sweet” Roxy in an eight-woman tag main event. This was part of the build to the Brody Sparks Tribute match at OWA Civil War. Cage’s team lost the match, when TyAnna pinned Aphrodite. At the Civil War event itself, Natalie served as a lumberjack for a match between Wolvesden leader, Kenny Drake, and the leader of The Unchained, Carlos Rosso.

Face turn and main event status (2018 - 2019)[]

In October, Natalie teased a face turn when she abandoned Heaven’s Den in a promo. She would then end the undefeated streak of Eris on the Halloween special episode of Odyssey, earning a shot at the OWA Goddesses Championship for Odyssey X. She won the match using Moth to a Flame - the finishing move of the late Brody Sparks - to commemorate the one year anniversary of her passing. After the match, Natalie took to the mic and led the crowd and the Odyssey locker room in paying tribute to Brody, turning face in the process for the first time in her career.

The week after, on Odyssey VIII, Natalie served as guest commentator for a match between former Wolvesden stablemate, Roni De Vil and Goddesses Champion, Dulce Torres. After the latter won, Natalie attempted to console Roni, who shoved her off and stormed out of the ring. A brawl then broke out between the emotionally volatile Cage and Torres, which had to be broke apart by security. Natalie begrudgingly teamed up with the #1 contender for the Women’s World Title, “Sweet” Roxy the week after, to face both TyAnna Jupiter and Dulce Torres in the main event. Towards the end of the match, Natalie hit her finisher on Dulce and appeared to have her beat, only to miss a blind tag that had just been made by her partner. Roxy was then blindsided by a Crescent Beam from TyAnna Jupiter. Natalie refused to break the pin and let Roxy take the loss, comfortable in the knowledge that she was capable of beating the Goddesses Champion.

At Odyssey X, Natalie and Dulce Torres had a back and forth match over the Goddesses Title. When Natalie appeared to have the match won, the lights went down and distracted Cage, who then succumbed to the Birth of Venus from Dulce, suffering her first pinfall loss as a result. After the match, Diantha Moreau and Roni De Vil appeared and attacked their former leader, confirming that they were behind the technical malfunction in a bid to sabotage Natalie’s title shot. The week after, Natalie told Dulce Torres that she had no hard feelings and understood that she had nothing to do with the interference. She then said she was over trying to win a title and wanted revenge on Wolvesden. However, Odyssey GM Viola DeMarco sent Natalie home, as she was afraid of what she might do.

The following week marked a significant turning point in Natalie’s career. She entered the arena through the crowd and cut an impassioned promo on her loyalty to the business and her desire to face Wolvesden. The crowd showed strong support and even booed the face Viola DeMarco when she informed Natalie that she wouldn’t be allowed to face her former running buddies. Natalie refused to take no for an answer, and would appear later in the night to interfere in the main event. She attacked Diantha and Roni with a kendo stick to a massive ovation, allowing the team of TyAnna Jupiter and Savannah Sunshine to pick up the win. This episode of Odyssey has been pointed to as key in Natalie’s progression from popular babyface to bona fide top star, cementing her place as one of Odyssey franchise players.

Natalie again tried to attack Diantha and Roni on Odyssey XIII in December, but was quickly stopped by security guards and Viola DeMarco. Natalie then pinned Viola to the ground and demanded a 2-on-1 handicap no disqualification match against Wolvesden for Odyssey XV, which she was granted. Natalie faced “Sweet” Roxy the following week on Odyssey, but lost after joint interference from Wolvesden and the Dollhouse, Roxy’s faction. After the match, Wolvesden savagely beat Cage and kayfabe hospitalised her. According to the storyline, Natalie was placed in a medically induced coma after suffering seizures from taking dual chair shots to the head.

Despite this, Cage was medically cleared to compete at Odyssey XV, where she defeated Roni and Diantha in the main event. The match saw a particularly dangerous spot, where Natalie fell from a 30 ft scaffold with Roni De Vil (the last time the latter was seen on OWA television). She would pin Diantha after cracking a chair round her head and following it up with a shining wizard.

Clash of the Goddesses winner and OWA Women's World Champion (2019 - present)[]

In 2019, Natalie began setting her eyes on a new goal: winning the inaugural Clash of the Goddesses match at OWA Clash of the Titans. The match in question is a 20-woman over the top rope battle royal, with entrants entering the ring every 90 seconds, with the winner receiving an OWA Women’s World Championship match at OWA Final Destination, the company’s biggest show of the year. Natalie was the first woman to announce her spot in the match on Odyssey XVI, before being attacked by the returning Eris, who threw Natalie out of the ring to confirm her spot in the match.

Over the next few weeks, the renewed rivalry between Cage and Eris continued. After both women scored victories over Pandora Barrett in consecutive weeks, they interrupted the other’s post-match celebration on the titantron. Eris accompanied her interruption by dropping blood on Natalie. On the go-home show before Clash of the Titans, Natalie served as the guest commentator for a match between Eris and Savannah Sunshine. Eris won the match and continued to beat down Sunshine, which Natalie responded to by knocking out Eris with a chair and throwing her out of the ring. She then punched out Savannah and threw her out, demonstrating that she was willing to take on anybody to win.

At OWA Clash of the Titans, Natalie entered the Clash of the Goddesses match at number ten. She won the match by last eliminating Goddesses Champion and old rival, Dulce Torres, thus becoming the #1 contender for the OWA Women’s World Championship at Final Destination. Natalie threw out five people during the match, setting the elimination record (tying with Eris). After the match, she was attacked by her brother, Nate Cage, marking the first direct interaction between the two since Natalie left Wolvesden. Natalie got revenge later in the night, interfering in the Clash of the Titans match and distracting her brother, who was then thrown out by Gareth Cason. She then came out at the end of the match to celebrate with the eventual winner, Aria Jaxon, a close friend of Cage.

The next week, on Odyssey, Natalie announced that she would put her Final Destination title shot on the line in every women's match she had from that point on. She also issued a challenge to her brother for OWA Divine Retribution. The following week, Odyssey executive Samantha Garza forbid Natalie from wrestling Nate as an Odyssey star, threatening her with suspension if she showed up at the event. Later on in the night, Natalie made her first successful defence of her world title shot against the debuting Pandora. After the match, she was blindsided once again by Eris, who challenged Natalie to a match at the inaugural Odyssey supershow, OWA Pluto's Gate.

The week after this, Natalie attacked Eris after the latter quickly squashed Kiara Roberson. She threw Eris off the side of the stage and accepted her challenge for Pluto's Gate. Natalie then made a surprise appearance on Kingdom, attacking Donny Dragon, a member of Nate Cage's Ground Zero stable. She threatened to break his ankle unless Kingdom GM Vernon Tressler granted her a one-day Kingdom contract for Divine Retribution so that the match could take place. Her demands were met and the match was set.

Natalie then teamed with Azumi Goto on the following Odyssey to face the team of Eris and Diantha Moreau. Natalie was pinned after Azumi was handcuffed to the ring post, but not before kicking out of back-to-back finishers from her opponents. Natalie then again appeared on Kingdom to sign the contract for her match with her brother. After signing, she was attacked from behind by sister-in-law, Lieta Collins and thrown through a table. The week after on Odyssey, Natalie officially announced that her match with Eris at Pluto's Gate would be a street fight, before being interrupted by her brother. Lieta Collins then attacked Natalie from behind, but she anticipated the ambush and got the better of her.

At Divine Retribution, Natalie lost to Nate via referee stoppage, after being locked in an omoplata by her brother that appeared to break her arm. The match was highly acclaimed, with many hailing it as the best of either wrestler's career. It earned Natalie her first ever OWA "Match of the Week" award. Natalie then defeated Eris in their Pluto's Gate match a week later, retaining her Final Destination title shot. The match was noteworthy for its brutal nature, with controversial moments such as Natalie having to superglue her own head shut after a deep laceration. The match was also acclaimed, netting Natalie back-to-back "Match of the Week" honours.

Natalie's feud with Azumi Goto got into full gear following Pluto's Gate. The two women had heated exchanges in the build to their match, often ending in physical confrontation. The week prior to Final Destination, Natalie saved Azumi from a Queen of the Ring cash-in attempt by Natasha Night. She explained her actions by claiming that she wanted the glory of taking the title off of Azumi, and that their match was simply too big to not happen. At Final Destination, Natalie pinned Azumi with a Kinslayer to win her first OWA Women's World Championship. On the following draft episode of Kingdom, Natalie faced Goddesses Champion, Dulce Torres in a rematch from their encounter at Odyssey X. Cage won the match via pinfall to even the score with her old rival.

Two weeks later, Natalie faced Jessica Rose in the main event of Odyssey, winning the match after Jessica was distracted by Persephone Bane (formerly known as Savannah Sunshine). Natalie was enraged at Bane getting involved in her match, and was attacked and beaten down by her to end the show. Two days later, Natalie made a surprise appearance in the main event of Kingdom, serving as a mystery partner for Jeff X alongside Christopher Sabertooth. The team took on Ground Zero, rekindling Natalie's feud with her brother, and the match ended in a no-contest when Kenny Drake made his return to attack Nate. This made Natalie the first person to main event both Odyssey and Kingdom in the same week.

Two weeks later, Natalie defended her title in a competitive match with Persephone Bane. Due to a damaged leg, Natalie couldn't rely on her usual offence and eventually won the match using Viola DeMarco's Broken Promise triangle armbar submission. Earlier in the night, Diantha Moreau won a number one contender's fatal four-way match, confirming that she will be Natalie's next title challenger at Boiling Point.

At Boiling Point, Diantha appeared to have Natalie beat. This was until Viola DeMarco placed Natalie's foot on the bottom rope while the referee's view was obstructed. Natalie then capitalised on this by hitting Diantha with a Kinslayer to retain the title, turning both her and Viola heel in the process. After this, Natalie main evented the cross-branded Trifecta event, where she defeated Lethal Angels Wrestling and Joshi Extreme Takeover's top champions, Kayla Winters and Midori Miyamoto in a triple threat, albeit with inadvertent assistance from Roxy. After the match, Natalie and Midori beat down Roxy and left her laid out with Kayla to end the night.

Natalie would then put her title on the line at the UK-based OWA event, British Invasion. At the request of her challenger, Jessica Rose, it was made a last man standing match. Natalie retained her title after a gruelling contest, striking Jessica flush in the head with a steel chair to win the match.

It was after this that the road to Civil War 2019 began, with Natalie in the headlining spot against Aria Jaxon and Bull Connors in a triple threat match. This made her the first Odyssey roster member to headline a major, cross-branded OWA event. Jaxon would ultimately win the triple threat by pinning Connors. After the match, Cage turned down a handshake from her opponents and attacked them with the OWA Women's World Title. This led to Ascension to the Heavens briefcase holder, Gareth Cason cashing in his contract to take the Omega Heavyweight Championship from Connors.

Following Civil War, Natalie began the search for her next title challenger. On the next Odyssey, she interrupted the signing of Stephanie Matsuda to offer her a match at December's Hardcore Havoc show. Before Matsuda could answer, Azumi Goto made her first appearance on Odyssey since Final Destination. Two weeks later, Natalie revealed that she would be defending her title in a triple threat match against both Goto and Matsuda. Later in the night, she teamed with Azumi to take on the team of Goddesses Champion, Roni Ozborn and her challenger at Hardcore Havoc, April Song, with Stephanie Matsuda serving as the guest referee. Cage and Goto lost the match when the latter was pinned by April. Natalie reacted by hitting Azumi with a Burning Hammer to end the night.

After this, Natalie started to show signs of her old self, exhibiting more psychotic, violent tendencies. She made the triple threat a Clockwork Orange House of Fun Match and challenged Azumi and Stephanie to a weapons brawl on Odyssey, which they refused. At Harcore Havoc, Cage retained her title after hitting Azumi Goto with a Burning Hammer on a steel chair. With this, she set a new record for consecutive OWA Women's World Championship defences, with four.

Personal Life[]

Greene is the younger half-sister of professional wrestler Peter Greene, better known by his ring name, Nate Cage. Cage trained Sarah and she has called him the most significant influence on her life. Nate also serves as an executive producer on OWA Odyssey, and plays a key role in scripting and producing his sister’s segments and matches.

She is openly gay, and is currently in a relationship with former professional wrestler, Viola DeMarco, who currently serves as the General Manager of Odyssey and is an agent/producer behind the scenes. Their relationship has been acknowledged on-screen.

Greene is notoriously private about her personal life, not believing her day-to-day goings on to be of any concern to the general public. It is known, however, that her interests include many physical activities, such as: archery, rock climbing, squash, boxing and mixed martial arts. She also shares close friendships with fellow wrestlers Aria Jaxon, Keelan Callihan, Diantha Moreau, Tarah Nova, Roni De Vil, Megan Harper and Monolith. She is the sister-in-law of Odyssey wrestler, Lieta Collins, who is married to her brother.

She lives in Chicago, Illinois, where she owns and operates her own bar, known as “The Dump.” Her wrestling promos are often shot there.
